When booking the “Schwalbennest” holiday apartment, we were guided by the DTV classification (4 stars) and the positive reviews.At first glance, these 4 stars are justified in terms of furnishings. When you see details, legitimate doubts arise.1. The seating furniture (sitting area & chairs) appears very worn due to the upholstery.2. The baking tray in the electric oven is totally dirty (burnt & sticky) and therefore unusable.3. The mattresses in the double bed are completely worn out and do not offer a restful sleep.If you look at the website of the German Tourism Association, there are minimum criteria for holiday apartments, some of which are not met by the hosts. Under point 7 of the minimum criteria, the guest should have a basic set of cleaning utensils (broom, cleaning bucket, mop, cloth/sponge, etc.) available. There was nothing there except a small sponge. The trash can was not taught during our 7-day stay, even though we left it in the stairwell where it was clearly visible to the host.Under point 11 of the minimum criteria, the bathroom should have a hairdryer, hand soap and at least 2 rolls of toilet paper. The hairdryer & hand soap were completely missing, toilet paper rolls had been started and the supply of at least 2 rolls of toilet paper was also completely missing.We also missed the hosts' requests to the guests after 1 - 2 days regarding the feel-good factor. We have experienced this more positively in previous holiday apartments.We were disappointed and hope that the hosts accept this criticism and take the necessary measures.

We would like to thank the Matt family for a very nice time on their farm.The Schwalbennest apartment is very comfortably furnished and everything is clean.The Matt family gave us a very friendly welcome, the delicious milk and the great bread and even the evening schnapps were simply great.The farm is a dream for young and old.We would love to come back 😊

Kind regards to the Matt family, our stay from May 30th to June 4th, 2022 was just really nice, such lovely, friendly people explain everything about the farm and take time to answer the questions..the apartment is 100% as shown, super clean and updated, we felt very comfortable and will 100% come back. Thank you for everything, including the delicious bread and the fact that I was allowed to go with you to the manure field, a great experience for me..my mom and I left with a heavy heart..stay healthy everyone.kind regards, Helga Gölz and Margrit Fuchs,

We spent a very nice holiday here. The hosts are very warm and accommodating, the apartment was very well maintained and cheap. This is exactly how you imagine a holiday on the farm. The area offers a variety of hiking trails and much more. Unreserved recommendation.

Wonderful place. We spent a wonderful week surrounded by nature and lovely owners. There were 5 of us. There was enough room for everyone. A wonderful living room with a kitchen. The house has everything you need to prepare dinner. Balcony for smokers. Comfortable beds. There are radiators if it gets cold We will definitely come back here.

We spent a lovely winter holiday at the Geiger farm. The holiday apartment is extremely well equipped, there is really nothing missing. The apartment is very clean and newly renovated. The bathroom has underfloor heating. The open kitchen with adjoining living/dining area is very cozy and you have a wonderful panoramic view over the meadows, mountains and forests. The Matt family is very warm and friendly. They implemented every special request we had, and they did it all very easily and quickly! Really great! Our daughter was happy about the farm animals, she not only got to look at them, but also helped out in the stable every day with feeding, etc. Of course she thought that was great!The farm is located a little away from the village in a valley. Around the farm there are only forests, meadows, mountains and a river. It is perfect for relaxing and unwinding.We can fully recommend the Geigerbauernhof and will definitely come back soon!
