The accommodation is cozy and familiar, the rooms are clean and you just feel comfortable. The innkeepers are warm and very friendly. The breakfast is also recommended, it was very varied and tasty. The price-performance ratio is right. And it has a great location for traveling through the Black Forest by motorcycle and it is in a beautiful place with old half-timbered buildings and history. I can only recommend it, it's a real Black Forest pearl and we'd love to come back.

I traveled for almost a month through the Black Forest and stayed in several hotels. This one especially caught my attention. First of all, because of the hospitality of the place. I met Rose, the owner of the hotel. She is a very attentive and friendly person. She serves your breakfast with great care in a spectacular environment. When you leave, she wishes you a great trip. The entire hotel is surrounded by objects, photos and history. The room I stayed in was wonderful. The bed could not have been more comfortable. A place that will remain in my memory.

We had such a great stay at this guesthouse. We were greeted warmly by Rose and checked in and she informed us of the kitchen’s hours for that evening. We ate there the first night and her husband cooked and she served our food. My kids were getting antsy and Rose offered to show the kids a rug where she had some toys, which kept them happily occupied until our food came. The food was great, freshly made, and I tried a regional specialty which was delicious. The breakfast in the morning was also great. Eggs were cooked to order and the coffee was good. Our room was comfortable and quiet and clean. Everything worked well and was in good repair, wifi worked very well. I think the style of the room matches the guesthouse; it felt cozy and homely, rather than dated. The dining room felt like a museum, full of beautiful old things. And I really can’t overstate how wonderful of a hostess Rose is. She remembered our orders on the second morning we were there; my younger son likes hard cooked eggs rather than soft boiled, and on the first morning Rose noticed that he didn’t finish his soft boiled egg, though she didn’t mention it. On the second morning, she had made a hard boiled egg that was waiting for him on the table. She was just truly wonderful and kind and attentive and I would go back gladly.
