In no way meets the requirements of a 4-star hotel. Doesn't even reach the 3 star pension category. Dirty rooms, bad food, bad service. …

Spacious room but problems with smell in the bathroom.Pleasant swimming pool area.No information given to the customer if you do not master the German language either on the catering service or on the spa area. A more than frosty welcome at the restaurant in the evening when you did not understand at breakfast that it was written in German that you must order your evening meal in advance...We won't come back again!

Quietly located, family hotel. The location is idyllic, the rooms are large, the food was very good and attractively prepared, requests are also very accommodating, there is both a small indoor pool and a beautiful outdoor pool with a sunbathing area, and there is a sun terrace above the wellness and spa . The staff is very friendly and in a good mood. The hotel is a place to feel good, whether as a couple, with family or with friends.

What a lovely hotel. We were very excited. We had booked a normal room. But when we got there they gave us an upgrade because it was my wife and I's wedding anniversary. A very big thank you for that. The panoramic suite is so beautiful, clean and great for couples. Highly recommended. We also had a very nice evening at the candlelight dinner. We will definitely come back 😊

We had a great short stay with our French bulldog at the Käppelehof. The staff is super friendly. We even got a small gift for the dog upon arrival. The food is very good - even if the selection is of course not comparable to large hotels due to the small hotel. But you can always find something and if someone has a request, you can turn to the staff in confidence. The hotel is currently being expanded and the construction work opposite hasn't bothered us. We felt very welcome with our dog. However, the walking paths around the hotel are manageable. This looked completely different to us on Googlemaps. The hotel is in a secluded location, which we really enjoyed because of the peace and quiet. The outdoor pool and outdoor sauna are great. The indoor saunas and indoor pool didn't appeal to us. The massage treatments were professional, but appointments are not good and appointments are scheduled on days that were not desired. We therefore had to cancel some of the massages because they were scheduled for the day of departure. It's a shame and definitely could be improved. The terrace room number 20 was a nice size and offered a great view, but given the price range we would have liked at least a shower curtain in the shower and a kettle for coffee/tea. The whirlpool tub was great, but if someone showered next to it, everything was wet on top too. We also got coffee outside of restaurant hours, but always had to walk to the restaurant. A kettle would be more practical for guests and staff. A highlight for us: the restaurant terrace. We will certainly come back :-)
