I would prefer not to write anything - otherwise you will all come to this small, cozy, inexpensive guesthouse. Nothing was left to be desired, very clean, bright, large room with daylight bathroom, great breakfast buffet, quiet, next door to an Asian restaurant and the porcelain factory. It's about a 15 minute walk to the market square. A shuttle goes up to the castle, the stop is directly in front of the porcelain factory. There is a small, well-kept lounge area in the guesthouse itself and you can purchase self-service drinks and enjoy them outside in a small part of the garden when the weather is good or just sit there. Free parking spaces are part of the house and are spacious - no maneuvering - only for the boss, who is there every morning and can always be reached via cell phone forwarding.The breakfast room is small but nice.We'll definitely come back.

Nice little guesthouse, located out of the way in a nice, clean backyard, everything is very clean and well maintained, the rooms are small and nice, you immediately feel comfortable in them. A few minutes' walk from the porcelain factory and the old town with the cathedral and Albrechtsburg are also just a few minutes' walk away. The breakfast is very tasty, everything is on offer and leaves nothing to be desired and you can get up from the table with a clear conscience and start your day's work strengthened for the next few hours.Conclusion highly recommended, even for a night in transit if you continue the next day

A super nice guesthouse with very nice and friendly owners. We had a good chat and got tips. The room faced the back yard and unfortunately only had 1 window. The breakfast was super tasty. Nothing about the pastries or anything - everything is fresh and perfect. Due to lack of space, we had to have breakfast with other guests. We as Cologne residents are used to this and it doesn't bother us at all. On the contrary - you get to know nice people. Parking free and safe. Conclusion: Gladly again.

We were in Meißen for a cabaret event and stayed overnight in the guesthouse.We really liked everything, the room and bathroom were surprisingly large and clean, the breakfast had everything you needed, the car was in safe hands and the proximity to the old town was perfect. We give the guesthouse 5 stars.

Ideal bicycle guesthouse for everyone who stops on the Elbe cycle path in Meissen. Great, clean and attractive house and rooms. Large bicycle garage with charging options. Great breakfast and good coffee! Right next to the porcelain factory. The host is a bit rustic in his speech but is a caring, nice guy!

Great accommodation, especially for cyclists. The Elbe Cycle Path is not far away and there are parking spaces for bicycles and cars.

First of all, I can't say anything about the rooms or the hotel itself, as this didn't happen despite an early reservation.First, we reserved a room at the accommodation, were pleased about the moderate price during a major event in Dresden and received a booking confirmation from the accommodation. 1.5 months before the trip I was asked to cancel the booking by the accommodation due to a system error (overbooking). Of course, at this point, most of the other hotels in the area are fully booked/astronomically expensive...

I had a technical problem with my bicycle and was helped by the landlord driving me to a company and having it there the next morning, and my repaired bicycle in front of the guesthouse on Sunday, great!!However, the innkeeper's hatred of the Greens and his understanding of Putin's war are incomprehensible!On the one hand, the man is kind-hearted and, on the other hand, so unreflective that I wish he had more calmness and understandingAnd also, making money is ridiculous!The landlord is not a fundamentally decent person!

Good: Great location, great breakfast, very nice kitchen staffBad:Unfortunately, the owner/boss was quite unfriendly, which really overshadowed our stay (hence 6 points deducted). You had the feeling of being a burden in front of him:- Catastrophic and very unfriendly communication via booking (no thanks/good day/you're welcome etc...)- Correction when you say you have booked a room that it is called "apartment" and not room (that was the first sentence at reception)- Breakfast at 9 a.m. was too late for him, at 7 a.m. too early and between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. too long (as a family with a baby)- when I rang the boss's bell 2 minutes AFTER the agreed meeting time (to let them know that I was standing downstairs in front of the door as discussed), the response I received was whether I wanted to "ruffle his nerves".- not a single friendly smile in 3 daysEveryone can have a bad day and broadcast it, but the biggest problem was that he worthlessly rejected my constructive feedback/criticism about it with the explanation that he was 70 and "everyone wants something all the time". Feedback is an APPRECIATION that should be gratefully accepted. That is a basic requirement. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We actually wanted to come again in April but this time we will visit a friendly accommodation that makes you feel welcome.
