In July 2018 I was in this wonderful atmosphere with my daughter for the first time, at the time run by the Picha couple. After unanswered emails, I happened to be nearby on my birthday in the spring of 2024 and stopped to ask whether this guesthouse was still in operation... and there Philipp stood in front of me and announced that he had taken over this beautiful property The opening will start on March 15, 2024. I immediately booked myself in with my daughter for the beginning of July. And we were NOT disappointed, quite the opposite...there is so much love and professional know-how here. From September 20th to 22nd, 2024 we spent another wonderful weekend together with my sister-in-law, niece and nephew. Hus un Köken is ideally located between Warnemünde and Kühlungsborn. I'll be back, no question.

We were guests at Hus un Köken until today. And what can I say… it was great and we will definitely be back.Franziska and Philipp were such great hosts, the room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with a cozy sleeping loft for the children, and the food was great. In addition, the extremely quiet location of the guesthouse including its own mini zoo... it couldn't be better.Thank you very much.😊

Very deserved 5 points and a clear recommendation.I was here on business. In addition to a beautiful room in the log cabin with a balcony and a view of the alpacas, I found a very warm and friendly host. The breakfast was excellent with an omelet that I have rarely eaten so well. In the evening we were able to hold a meeting in the small, cozy dining room and were then served a really delicious meal. The young chef did such an excellent job with the steak and the slightly smoked wolffish that the participants were still raving about it the next day. To top it all off, there was homemade ice cream.We wish the lovely Hofmeister family all the best and look forward to the next visit.

Feeding the alpaca was a real highlight with all the wool on it.From the house we were able to go on beautiful bike rides in all directions - great.Thank you also for letting us share your cooking skills, I hope you can expand on that as you wish.JimmyPS: The MO tastes really great, I'm trying to organize it in the south

The guesthouse "HUS UN KÖKEN" is an absolutely fantastic place! The owners Franziska and Philipp are professional, warm and take care of their guests attentively and always helpfully. The rooms are cozy and lovingly furnished. The breakfast is a real highlight - freshly prepared and delicious. Other menus can also be arranged personally with the head chef. The guesthouse's huge garden is simply fantastic, quiet and perfect for relaxing days and evenings in nature. The alpacas that live on the premises immediately conquer every animal lover's heart - so cute!I can fully recommend this guesthouse and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Philipp and Franziska are very lovely hosts and looked after us very, very well. From breakfast to the individually booked dinner prepared by Philipp, everything was great. We were very impressed by this beautiful place with space for children, dogs, etc. The huge garden with alpacas and chickens is simply fantastic. The two of them are currently still in the early stages of their careers as hosts, as they only took over the property a few days/weeks ago. But with so much love and warmth nothing can go wrong. We definitely wish Franziska and Philipp good luck and always “full house”.

Unfortunately currently closed - After a conversation/booking request in July 2023 with Ms. Picha, I received this information! Out of respect for the Picha family's privacy, I did not ask why.I'm posting this information here to protect the "Wiesenpension Picha" from further bad reviews, BECAUSE THEY SIMPLY DON'T DESERVE THAT!!!!!!!!!I had several stays with my wife and children that we will never forget. And in a positive sense. There is certainly no other guesthouse like this, with operators like the Picha couple...I think the reviews speak for themselves!I really hope that the Wiesenpension Picha will reopen at some point. A request for a callback to make a booking request was not fulfilled. The callback phone number was repeated twice on the answering machine. Even if everything is fully booked, guests who are willing to book should be valued.

Very quiet and lovingly run guesthouse with passion. The breakfast was phenomenal and left nothing to be desired. We haven't been this relaxed for a long time. The rooms are very clean and individually furnished. We'll definitely be back.

Very familiar, quiet, garden very lovingly laid out, some rooms with terrace, sitting areas in the garden, everything very well maintained, log house style house with appropriate furnishings (natural wood furniture), rich and constantly changing breakfast
