We stayed at Haus Ottenlock for two nights for a little break for two. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the bed was really comfortable and we slept really well. The bathroom is small but clean and you had everything you need, the pool area is also really great and invites you to linger. To have breakfast, go to the sister hotel Hafenmeisterei in a few minutes, where you will be greeted with a smile by the friendly and attentive ladies at reception and service. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired; scrambled or fried eggs were freshly prepared for us upon request. We really enjoyed our time out and will definitely be back soon!

We felt very comfortable in this very tastefully furnished house. It is located on a side street, not far from the port and center, everything is within walking distance.You just have to feel comfortable, it is very lovingly furnished. We booked the small double room for 3 nights. The mattresses were not too soft and not too hard.A small desk and cupboard were available. The WiFi worked perfectly. The bathroom was also very clean.There is a small lounge, as well as a garden with loungers and a great pool.We had the excellent breakfast at the sister hotel Hafenmeisterei (not far away, within walking distance)relish. Nothing was missing. You could also get scrambled eggs, fried eggs with or without bacon.Requests were no problem for the friendly service. Always funny. From our table we had a wonderful view of the Steinhuder Meer.We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this little house.Kind regards from Flensburg

Nice hotel, clean, only unfortunate that you have to walk down to the cafe to have breakfast, unpleasant when it rains, no problem for hikers, and not even when the sun is shining

For us this was the second year in a row at Haus Ottenlock on the Steinhuder Meer. Is mostly fully booked. Small double room with a 140cm bed with everything you need. New towels upon request at the reception at the harbor master's office. Short walk to the harbor/Steinhuder Meer. Very good breakfast buffet in the sister hotel in the harbor master's office. Great and comfortable ambience. The staff, whether at reception or in service, are always nice and helpful. Drinks fridge and seating available in Haus Ottenlock.We expressly recommend it here and for us it won't be the last short vacation on the Steinhuder Meer.Price/performance ratio unbeatable!

TV and WiFi have not been working for a year, according to other reviews. Room and bathroom very clean. The bed mattress was hard as a board. First day the friendliness at reception left a lot to be desired. On the second day the colleague was very friendly. The breakfast was very good.

We stayed there for 3 nights, nice little guesthouse with breakfast, the latter is available in the sister hotel a few minutes walk but it wasn't a problem and was very goodAs a little treat, there is a small pool in the garden with loungers etc...Well suited for refreshment on hot days

A really great house 👌We felt totally comfortable and will definitely come back.Clean, bright and very tastefully decorated. The pool is very nice and with the loungers it is a great oasis of well-being.The breakfast in the harbor master's office was also something very special. In terms of ambience and the excellent selection 👍

Very nice little house, with a pool in the garden.Quietly located and a 5 minute walk to the Steinhuder Meer.The only mango, the mattress was very, very soft.(Not recommended after a herniated disc.)Otherwise everything was clean and quiet.Really recommended 👍😊

We stayed in a small double room for three days and felt very comfortable. The house is located in one of the quiet side streets, ideal for shopping, but it is only a short walk to the harbor and tourist center.High-quality bed linen, furnishings with flair, I was only at odds with the water, which was either cold or hot, but my travel companion had it better under control. There was a good selection of cold and warm drinks in the common room.The breakfast buffet was great, the service was friendly and helpful, and our seats in the dining room were comfortably located. The short walk to the “Hafenmeisterei” was no problem. The pool area, located in the garden, was also comfortably furnished with loungers, seating, storage areas, sun loungers and umbrellas.

Highly recommended - exceptionally good!Liked · I chose the hotel v. A. Because of the location and the maritime decoration and I was not disappointed. Very clean, very nicely furnished (including the separate bathroom), a large bottle of water was brought to the room as a welcome. On the ground floor there was a small tea station and even small pastries and fruit. You can also buy wine etc. from the cellar, but at restaurant prices. I also tried the pool, it was ice cold but I was warned. The water in the shower could be set very hot. Quiet location yet close to the Steinhuder Meer shore.Breakfast was served in the sister hotel “Hafenmeisterei” (5 minute walk) and check-in and check-out was there. It was really exceptionally good with fish, sparkling wine and a large selection of sausages, cheese, fruit and fresh bread and rolls. View of the Steinhuder Meer. Here you could also enjoy delicious tappas in the evening. I would like 1 or 2 more dishes with fish. Also furnished with great attention to maritime detail.You quickly received a detailed answer to inquiries when booking, a few days beforehand there was a voucher for an aperitif when visiting the "Hafenmeisterei" restaurant, an email with important facts about check-in (for example, this was at the sister hotel) and two A phone call days before. Super!The boss and the staff are really super nice, they make you feel important. Very helpful, friendly and accommodating. I dined twice in the harbor master's office and had a nice chat with the guests. Really very good and family atmosphere.I would definitely like to come back here and hope that breakfast will be available again in the harbor master's office 😉

The Pension Ottenlock is lovingly decorated in a maritime style with lovely details. The breakfast is great and in the Corona period it was great with the option of a picnic basket.We felt very comfortable in the room and by the pool in the garden.Thank you for the lovely stay.
