We are absolute Dangast fans and often visit the town when we want to escape everyday life with our children and recharge with some peace and quiet. Now for the fourth time we spent two weeks in a row at the Hayenort farm. The Luers family shares the absolute dream location of their farm with their guests and warmly lets the children participate in their everyday farm life. A beach holiday alone wouldn't be the right thing for our children - but combined with the tasks and opportunities on the farm, we've just hit the mark again. We now know all the apartments on the farm and can recommend them without reservation. There is a large fleet of vehicles available for children, but they can also gain experience working on the farm (passing hay, mucking out, riding on the tractor, being involved in milking, leading horses into the paddock, feeding rabbits/guinea pigs, and much more). Jan Gerd and his farm helpers always go out of their way to help the children - you just have to ask!I really appreciate the garden of the holiday home; the sun always seems to shine here and you can see far over the pastures. Within a three-minute walk you can reach the beach and enjoy the sunset in the evening. On the dike you can enjoy endless walks between flocks of sheep or even a bike ride to Wilhelmshaven. This year we met some well-known holiday families and the holiday was even more relaxed. A small communal farm party with sociable chat and children running around rounded off the time.It was very difficult for us and our children to say goodbye this year, which is simply the highest praise. And so we are now looking forward to our next stay with the Luers!Thank you and see you soon!

Our first vacation on a farm! And definitely not the last - we have already booked again!!We had accommodation on the farm, right next to the stables. And so we were right in the middle of it instead of just there, which was the highlight, especially for our son!We were allowed to help from the beginning and had everything explained and shown to us by the Luers family: feeding the animals (horses, cows, calves, cats, the dog, guinea pigs...), caring for the animals, milking the cows. We were also out and about spreading manure and a little bit of haymaking. And after a few days we were allowed to look after the calves independently - because we wanted to/were allowed to and we were well instructed! Our son (5) always had the opportunity to go around the farm with the go-karts that were available in sufficient numbers in the shed - when he wasn't on the tractor with Jan, Felix or Frederik. The farm was the meeting point for the Luers family's guests, and we also met spontaneously in the evenings for a barbecue. What we will definitely do differently next time we visit: take fewer fine clothes and more work clothes! Old shoes or rubber boots are recommended!Dangast and Varel are rather sleepy places; In the latter there are very good shopping opportunities.Summary:All thumbs up for this type of vacation! If you want to be served or like fancy things, you should rather drive AIDA, or something like that... if you want to experience something tangible, real, this is the right place!!Greetings!!

We have just started our journey home after a week at the Hayenort holiday farm. We have seen and experienced many farms and rarely have the owners/landlords been so warm and concerned about the well-being of their holiday guests. Our daughters, ages 6 and 10, loved the little calves. It was also a great pleasure for them to look after the other cows. They were involved in bringing the horses to the paddock in the morning and to the stable in the evening. We were welcome spectators during the milking - that was a very special experience for the kids. We were able to enjoy the fresh cow's milk without restrictions. Riding on Lise and Holly also left a positive impression. Our dog got along really well with the farm dog Leo and was just as welcome on the farm.We immediately felt at home in the “Deichblick” apartment. The view is great - one morning we even saw deer. The location of the farm is also unbeatable. You can leave the car parked. Many thanks to the Luers family and their employees, who really do their work with passion. We recommend you in any case and would be happy to come back!

Our new favorite holiday spot in Germany. Particularly suitable for families with children.Great apartments with good facilities, the location of the farm couldn't be better, it's just a few meters walk to the harbor, the beach and the town. The hosts are super friendly and open and always try to integrate the holidaymakers' children into the work on the farm. The holiday region also offers great excursion options in the area and Dangast itself has a varied calendar of events and cultural offerings.East Frisian Islands, mudflat hikes, amusement parks, pony rides - there's no chance of boredom here. This was our second time at Hayenort and we will probably be repeat visitors every year. :-)

My family with two small children were guests on the farm for the second time. The hosts are the best!It is wonderfully quiet and beautiful here. The beach can also be reached in five minutes on foot. The apartments are extremely well maintained and nothing is missing. The farm has a lot to offer.Own playground, lots of animals and lotsMountain buggies for young and old.Children can play without restrictions, and thanks to the location you have a good view of the yard. The kids can do anything here and are in good hands with their hosts.Tracktor rides as a passenger for children are possible and just great.Horses (big and small) shouldn't be missing either. They also like to be ridden out.We give ten stars and book again for next year.We are impressed by so much harmony.Clear recommendation!!!

A very spontaneous and really nice short trip. The Godewind holiday apartment was still available, so we were able to spend a few relaxing days in the very clean and tastefully furnished apartment. The proximity to the beach/water is great!Even though we couldn't use the winter garden and the small garden due to the time of year, that is another plus point that I would like to mention. The corner bench in the kitchen ensured the appropriate comfort during breakfast and dinner. We can't write anything about the farm itself (yet), but we'll be happy to come back and enjoy farm life. Especially since the proximity to the water/beach is really practical here too! Thanks also to the landlord/family for the great accommodation and also one or two conversations.
