We had booked the “Heimathafen” holiday apartment. It was very nicely decorated. You had a TV, cutlery to prepare your own food, a clean shower/toilet and a nice balcony. The balcony had a beautiful view of the Steinhuder Meer. Despite many planes flying over the house, you couldn't hear anything with the windows closed. It is also nice that there is a bus stop right in front of the house.

The location of the holiday complex is really very good, very short walk to the bathing island and only a maximum of 15 minutes to the promenade. The key handover was problem-free and uncomplicated and the availability for questions was very quick and friendly! Value for money is right! The only criticisms are the outdated building (the apartment itself is extremely modernized) and the insects on the ceiling and dust on the floor.

The location is right by the sea/boat pier, the apartment is wonderfully equipped and offers a nice, cozy day/evening. The neighbors are very friendly and the sauna is in top condition

We really liked it. The outside of the house is a bit 70s-ish, but the apartment was really nice and cozy. Super furnished, everything you need is there. Everything was clean and the large bed was also very comfortable. The facility is clean, no trash or dog feces and best of all, right on the water. What more do you want? We would have liked to have stayed longer.

That was my first time reaching for the toilet. On the outside it's a social building from the 70s. Unclean (windows in public areas not cleaned for ages, musty hallways, rotten old bicycles on every corner)

Our apartment was perfectly fine. But the whole complex is reminiscent of a social building. There are rusty bicycles everywhere that no one cares about. There are also long-term tenants living there who (in our case) show no consideration for vacationers and discuss their problems loudly (until 4:00 a.m.). Hopefully an isolated case! In any case, a reason for us never to book an apartment in such a block again. After all, you want to relax on vacation.

4 stars if there had only been two of us.With a 1.5-year-old child, “living” in what is essentially a one-room apartment is hardly possible, especially in the evening. What was great in this regard was that we were provided with a baby bed and a high chair. Unfortunately there were a lot of cobwebs on the balcony and on the ceilings inside. Dirt was found under the bed, including an old sock - disgusting. In the kitchen there were some cooking utensils, rancid oil and very old tea bags (Dear landlord - rework!)A breakfast brought would cost €15 per person - the Pesalla bakery, 850m away, can help.!!!The description of the apartment should be edited - no sauna, no swimming pool thanks to Corona and then no washing machine and dryer in the apartment!!!Very, very tight parking spaces, even in the underground car park!!!Blinds broken! The location is great and makes up for a lot. 5 minute walk to the beach/bathing island. A few 100m to the shops, also on Sundays! have opened.Price doesn't seem too expensive.

Were there from October 8th to 16th, 21. At least 2 elevators in one staircase in case one fails. That wasn't the case for us. Quietly located with a partial view of the Steinhuder Meer. The crows in the park trees chirp between 8 and 10. I didn't recognize that sound. But it doesn't bother you. Swimming pool and sauna in the buildings. Bathing island nearby. Would go again

Found a small apartment there, everything was fine. The swimming pool is very nice, especially when you go out in the evening there is almost no one there
