We were there spontaneously over Pentecost. Super nice hosts. Rooms great, beds very comfortable and the breakfast is prepared individually and very tasty. Everything was really great! You can also eat delicious food there in the evening. We'd love to come back!!!

Welcoming reception by Bernhard in cafe del maar.Our room was in their 2nd location landhoteleifellust.Clean room, quiet, fantastic beds.Good and fresh breakfast, served at the table, choice of boiled or fried egg, freshly prepared, if there are larger groups there is a partial buffet.In the evening we had a delicious meal in Cafe Del Maar, host Bernard will do everything in his power to please you.Highly recommended.Too bad we can't post a photo.

Ended up in Schalkenmehren on a motorcycle weekend in the Eifel. Had a delicious meal at Café del Maar. Very friendly (Dutch speaking) owner.Everything is top notch and very tastefully decorated.

Rooms are a bit old... Location is great... very friendly with dogs...But service...can be improved.Coffee is closed... there is no coffee from the machine for house guests either... although everything is there. A pity.

Hello 😁This is my second time in Schalken. The first time in the Eifel Lust and this time in Café del Maar. I was more than thrilled every time. The rooms are individually furnished, with great attention to detail, very clean and very comfortable ☺️The breakfast is unbeatable. Everything has been thought of, fruit, yoghurt, ojuice, coffee, eggs in every variation, rolls, croissants...incredibly delicious, fresh and versatile! 😍And last but not least, a huge compliment to the hosts❤️They are so warm, courteous, helpful...Conclusion: A perfect holiday for body and soul... A bit like coming home ❤️I will definitely come back 😁
