It is a sleepy hotel, quietly and picturesquely located, not far from a lake.The backdrop invites you to paint or take photographs. The surrounding landscape is promising.The hotel itself is an old school inn. The rooms are of an older standard - albeit an older, higher standard.The rooms and facilities are clean and nice. The ambience ranges from rural-romantic to rural-feudal.All in all, a nice place that invites you to stay a little longer.The WiFi is a bit weak. A pleasant companion for evening entertainment is recommended.

Restaurant is only open for groups. There was an ADAF award on the wall and there are good options for cyclists to stay overnight.

One can only be amazed at the positive reviews so far. Our room was dirty and the breakfast was a disaster. Just the stains on the tablecloth and the cobwebs in the lamps directly above the dining table. You could have killed someone with the rolls. Fruit and vegetables were past their prime. The food, e.g. cheese and sausage, was not offered in a refrigerated counter. The owner growled at us that she had to clean the room now. We stayed at the hotel in bad weather and stayed in our room (we hadn't put up the sign! There was no response at all).Last but not least, the owner did not stick to the previously agreed price for the stay!!! He also advertised that booking directly with him would be cheaper than via an online booking site. We had to pay more than what was shown on the booking site. We can therefore only advise against booking directly with the hotel!!!The only positive thing is the beautiful location of the small hotel, near a beautiful lake and it takes about 15 minutes to drive to Schönberger Beach.

Very cozy hotel. The Franke family was very accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately a bit outdated but clean and comfortably furnished. Breakfast is ok. The garden is really a dream. Unfortunately the cafe is closed and no other meals are offered. There are no options for lunch or dinner in the town itself. WiFi only works outside and our television didn't work at all.

My weekend experience: A very nice property with small, clean rooms, holiday apartments are also available, the breakfast was fantastic and last but not least, the hosts were very friendly. Gladly again!

Very nicely located and good outdoor area - restaurant unfortunately closed due to Corona requirements (according to the sign on the entrance door). This was annoying on a bike tour around Lake Selenter because it is the only cafe north of the lake. Maybe the authorities should think about how this cafe can stay open during the season.

Very nice and quiet location. Great as a starting point for bike tours. The operator is always good for a casual saying. If we come to this area again, we will definitely stop here again.

Anyone who loves nature and flowers will already have fun arriving and driving up to the hotel. Our feelings were able to breathe in a large and well-kept old farmhouse, lovingly furnished in every detail, in the middle of an orderly “wilderness” of flowers and bushes. Cozy places in the large garden invited you to linger. Rooms and sanitary facilities met our needs and the breakfast was also "right". Those with walking difficulties must be prepared for the somewhat steep stairs in the house.This house has a "soul". We'd love to come back.
