Went to your beautiful hut again yesterday (8/23/24) and were looking forward to a good snack and cheese dumplings. Unfortunately, on our last visit (Sept. 23) we had a bad experience with lukewarm and undercooked cheese dumplings, which were returned. After about 15 minutes fresh food arrived which was even free. Everything okay! Yesterday it was the same again, lukewarm, not well cooked, draped on a listless salad. Inedible! My sausages could have used a few minutes of hot water. But if a warm meal is on the table after what feels like 3 minutes after ordering, nothing good can come of it. What a shame! The friendly and attentive service could only offer us cancellation. But the good mood was gone and my wife had to get off hungry. We still know that you can do better from 2022, when everything was great. We want to try it again once. So watch your kitchen, otherwise your good reputation will soon be ruined and that would be a real shame.

We spent a wonderful weekend there as a group of seven. The hut is really beautifully situated and very idyllic. The bed was very comfortable and the sanitary facilities were also very clean and well maintained. The two ladies there served us very nicely nothing was left to be desiredWe'd love to come back.

Totally beautiful alpine pasture, good food, friendly service, in the summer if you're lucky you can even spot marmots, we love being here.

A less demanding hike to the Schwarzrieshütte from the Kranzhorn hiking car park. More of a demanding walk, with a bit of an incline towards the end. Only the stated walking time of one hour is incorrect. With children and no time pressure, we were on the road for about 2 hours.Last piece not suitable for strollers. It should be a Thule or something similar.If you are traveling without appropriate vehicles, you can take a shortcut up the slope when you reach the large valley (the hut is visible above on the left). Vehicles must follow the path up a long loop and reach the hut from the back. (Not well signposted).The hut itself is beautifully situated in the middle of the valley with a view of the surrounding mountains. Food is very good and a small children's playground offers the little ones the opportunity to let off steam.Gladly again.

Beautiful, relaxed hiking area. Great terrace with shaded areas. The girls in service do a great job! Food came quickly and was tasty. I think the prices are absolutely reasonable.

Very nice and easy to reach alpine hut. The atmosphere is pleasant and you feel comfortable. There is the possibility of sitting outside. The food tastes very good and is freshly prepared. The service is extremely friendly and accommodating. The prices are average.

We were there on Easter Monday, it was the first nice holiday of the year and we felt well looked after. The terrace was nice and comfortable to sit on, and the hut was also very well attended. Nevertheless, the service was friendly and the waiting times were absolutely fine. We were more disturbed by other guests who obviously didn't understand that sometimes, especially when there is a lot going on, it can take a little longer and you would think that on a public holiday and on the mountain you can bring a little time with you In this case you can enjoy the sun and the surroundings - but the staff were still super nice and friendly! We ate cheese dumplings and they were really, really good! We'll definitely be back!

We had to wait at least 30 minutes to order even though it was still very busy. Then a group of 8-10 people came and they were served before us, even though we had made our presence known. Well, a little more overview wouldn't hurt. Homemade cakes were good.

Great hut. Great dumplings. Northernmost hut in Austria. We came up from the Samerberg side. The path was also great.The hut has upscale and clean sanitary facilities.The team was super nice and quick.
