Had a great stay, nice and large room in the old station building. We had booked half board. After breakfast we took 1 sandwich per person in a napkin for the walk. We had to pay extra for this. Maybe rightly so, but it left us feeling hungover. You can only make a first impression once, but you can only leave a last impression once......

Very good hotel (Logis in general!!!). Correct welcome in the customer's language!!! Very nice room, modern and tastefully decorated. Modern and very clean bathroom (be careful, the shower leaks into the bathroom!!!). Comfortable bedding. Too bad it's not possible to open the window at night without hearing the traffic. The staff in general are very helpful and attentive (a special nod to the evening lady at the restaurant who comes from Liège ;-). Super breakfast buffet, very complete and of very good quality! A little far from everything, nothing to do in the evening around the hotel (17 minutes by car from Echternacht).Hotel restaurant of good quality but a little expensive (67€ a game menu and 2 glasses of wine)I recommend even if, in Luxembourg, the prices are soaring (€110 per night including breakfast for one person and it is one of the cheapest!!!)

Nicely located hotel in relation to hiking areas such as the Muhlertall. Spacious rooms with a decent sized bathroom. Everything was clean and the service was very friendly. We had booked half board and were served a delicious 4-course meal every evening. Every morning there was an extensive breakfast buffet with something for everyone. However, there are a number of areas for improvement. It is unclear what exactly is included in the package. At dinner, no jug of tap water is placed on the table and you are more or less obliged to take the 'expensive' mineral water. There are coffee and tea facilities in the room, but after use the coffee and tea are not replenished. If you ask for it at reception you will get new ones, but still. Balcony sounds nice, but you have to adjust the chair to sit there. €14 p.d.p.p. It is a lot of money to have a balcony. When checking out, it turned out that our advance payment had not been settled. It was eventually resolved, but it did not seem very professional.

Ideal place for rest and good food.All your questions will be answered in perfect Dutch by the owners.The rooms are beautifully decorated and you can enjoy the peace and quiet on the terrace or in the garden along the border with Germany and the Sure.Walks are well marked and there is also free public transport everywhere.In short, ideal for those who love peace and good food.

We were looking for a hotel that was close to our sights. We ended up at this hotel. Since we were late checking in, we were called at what time we thought we would arrive, this was no problem if we arrived a little later. We received a friendly welcome and the room was neat and nicely decorated. Parking was no problem. Breakfast was good and the service was very friendly and helpful as well as the owner. Definitely a hotel to visit again 👍🏼

Room ok, but balcony not worth it being a balcony, 2 chairs but no table, but paid an extra €10 for that. Paid €15 extra for the dog. Unfriendly when checking out, my wife was treated very condescendingly. There was supposed to be coffee in the room every day, but unfortunately we had to ask. We will not visit this hotel again, let alone take a room there. We do not recommend this hotel.

Still enjoying a wonderful week. Delicious and extensive breakfast buffet every morning, 4-course menu in the evening. If you don't like something or have an allergy, you can get something else instead without any problems. Very friendly staff! The rooms were very neat. Everything you need was there. Coffee and tea making facilities are also available in the room. At first we were a bit disappointed that there was no balcony in our room, but the garden more than made up for this. You can rest in the shade at these warm temperatures. There are seats, sun loungers and table and chairs available. My husband also enjoyed the wellness activities. Public transport is free in Luxembourg, the bus stop is a few meters from the hotel. A kilometer walk takes you to the next village where you can find bread and toppings for a picnic. There you will also find the tourist office with a very helpful lady. We will definitely go back!

We were quite desperate as to whether we could even get anything to eat here in the village on a Monday evening.But we were absolutely positively surprised by the Dimmer restaurant!The staff were very friendly and quick and the food was really tasty.Clear recommendation!

Visited this hotel with a bongo voucher. Just a horror. We were assigned a room 1km from the hotel in a former Gasthof (Forellenhof). Room was still ok but the rest of the guesthouse was neglected. The dinner, which was included, was of no use. Dried out chicken and a piece of meat that you could kill someone with. Not to mention the prices. Furthermore, a very arrogant man at the counter who tells you with a smile that they have many facilities, and then houses you 1 km further, so that you do not have the opportunity to use them without having to use your car.
