The Schloss Schenke is an excellent and great, middle-class restaurant. The rustic and well-kept furnishings create a very cozy atmosphere.The down-to-earth cuisine is prepared to a high standard and excellently.The roast pork was excellent. At the end, the chef came to the table briefly and raved about his unique fried potatoes. We will definitely try these again soon.The service was extremely friendly. Dear Susanne, you're doing great.In addition to many small rooms for various celebrations, there are also theme evenings, sometimes with music.In summer there is a beautiful, shady beer garden.And there is a cool pirate climbing ship available for the kids.There are sufficient parking spaces in the immediate vicinity with barrier-free access.Top recommendation and an “insider tip” 😉

Very nice beer garden with friendly service. I had roast pork and my companion had cream mushrooms with bread dumplings... Afterwards there was dessert. Everything was super delicious!!!!

I've visited a few times now but today was definitely the last time.The food was great and the price was reasonable.The staff, the (male) waitress (supposedly the boss), were extremely unfriendly, when paying they didn't ask whether it was cash or card, since I wanted to pay with card we were advised to borrow money. When it was finally possible to pay by card after 10 minutes and it didn't work the first time (contactless), people shouted loudly that we had no money in the account.The second time with the card inserted it worked.I haven't been exposed like this in a long time...No thanks, I'll happily spend my money somewhere else next time.

We go to this, in our opinion, the most beautiful beer garden around at least once a week. The staff is friendly and attentive. If there's a lot of crowds it might take a little longer, but that's not a problem, no one can do witchcraft! Went to the new beer garden at the Schloß Schenke today.What can I say - the food and drinks are great value for money. The service was also very friendly and attentive. We would love to come back soon

Very weak - the schnitzel almost raw, the potato salad watery. The waitress cleared away the glasses before paying and was also grossly unfriendly!This used to be a warm and inviting beer garden. Better avoid today!

I enjoyed one of the finest meals I've ever had, which was delivered remarkably quickly. The location was also quite charming. I would gladly make the journey to Bavaria just to dine here again.

Unfortunately there is no comparison to last year. Beer garden on Sunday lunchtime only a few tables occupied when the weather is nice. After eating we knew why. The quality and taste of the food has deteriorated significantly compared to last year. There were six of us there and no one really enjoyed it. At least we won't be coming again this year.

Hello, we were eating there. I had a schnitzel with potato salad and a currywurst for the proud price of €11.90. The breading of the schnitzel was lightly fried, the potato salad was completely watery and the schnitzel was floating in this broth. It's bad, the fries for the currywurst weren't ready, I think it's bad to serve something like that to the guests for good money, I would have a guilty conscience, you should have a serious conversation with the chef. He scares away the guests with his skills. Not recommendable..

I don't want to say anything about the hotel itself, but about the Schloss-Schenke itself. The waitress (male) is very unfriendly! Doesn't ask whether it's still or sparkling water, doesn't understand anything you say and hugo / lillet without mint / berries etc. Hello and a friendly look is not included!!! Such a tragedy!!!!!!!!!I ask that things get better again! 🤨

As a small startup, we spent our team days at Tunzenberg Castle. We experienced truly sensational care at Tunzenberg Castle. The private atmosphere and isolation made it the perfect setting for us to get to know each other as a team, work and retreat when necessary.Big praise goes to all the employees who made this atmosphere possible for us and responded to our wishes with great flexibility. It was the perfect mix of subtle reserve and always very friendly care. It couldn't have been better!
