Very large/long campsite.Grass on many camping sites withered, understandable with a lot of tourism.Receptionist/owner(?) understands Dutch well, but is clearly unhappy in her work, makes little eye contact, sighs a lot and quickly finds it too "busy" as it seems. The spots on the water offer beautiful views, the rest of the spots overlook other camping equipment placed in lanes. There is little contact because everyone is parked with their backs to each other. Cars are parked near the campsite and drive back and forth, a lot of which makes it feel unsafe for young children to let them play on their own.The playgrounds are fun and located on mountains, but in terms of safety I doubt whether they would be approved according to Dutch standards, I expect them to be inspected by German inspectors. The animation does not continue throughout the season, but during the time with animation, the mainly Dutch volunteers(?) do their very best to make something fun of it. This is great! On Mondays and Fridays, in the busiest weeks of the year, there are children's activities twice a day, such as crafts and bingo, both very nicely organized and free in the price of camping. Children are then picked up with a tractor and wagons, making it a kind of train, which stops at many locations throughout the campsite, so that every child has the opportunity to come along. Very positive experience!Sanitary building is extremely outdated. Although the cleaning team does everything they can to keep it clean, this is almost impossible due to the condition of the building. Taps have virtually no pressure, taps fail completely, taps that do not get hot, toilets that are clogged, showers where the cold and hot water do not or hardly mix, showering with coins outside the shower cubicle 1 euro per coin, and then you have about 5 minutes to undress, shower and be gone before it turns into ice cold water. The shower block is very hard and has been adjusted remarkably, so that the entire cubicle, which is just too small, is soaking wet and so are your clothes/towel. The rear 2 showers are better. (Rear sanitary building) washing up facility is very "compact" so that when it is "rush hour" you are almost pressed against each other and you are forced to place your things on a nearby wall. Most toilets do not have the option to hang up your toilet paper roll, so you will have to hold onto it at all times. I find that uncomfortable, but that may be personal. The swimming pool has quite cold water and is intensely busy on hot days, so there is little space, but my family loved the slides, which went very fast, making it really cool, especially for older children! There is no general parking space, so if you are at the back of the campsite and you are less mobile, you will hardly be able to get to the reception/canoes/swimming pool. I experienced this as very sad.The campsite is very large and the pitches are very small/cramped. There are 2 washing machines and 2 dryers at the reception (sanitary room for it) a wash costs 5 euros, but given the number of people at the campsite, washing is almost impossible. The canoe rental that you pay for is fun and challenging, but you cannot go from the final destination back to the beginning and you will have to do this by public transport (free) or on foot. No one will help you get out of the canoe, it is a kind of raft on plastic bottles, making it impossible for people with moderate mobility. You also have to take your canoe out of the water yourself and empty it of water. In addition, there are no waterproof barrels available, which means that taking valuables with you is actually ruled out. This can be overcome by bringing your own waterproof barrel. The reception has a small shop where you can get the basic necessities. All in all, the location of the campsite is great,
