Wonderful wines, best advice and great quality. The stay was simply like “being at home”.

Visit on Saturdays in the early evening. 2 people, with reservation. With great expectations (4.8 stars on Google). Furnishings: rather simple, wood, but attractive. One problem is the door: some guests leave it open and then it gets uncomfortably cold. Wines: all the ones we had were very good. And at reasonable prices. That gives 5 stars. The food was simple but good. That gives 4 stars. But the organization of the processes wasn't good, things didn't "run smoothly", and the waiting time for food was far too long. The first meal (liver sausage with jacket potatoes) came 60 minutes after ordering (= 80 minutes after arrival), the second (salmon with potato wedges) after 75 minutes. It wasn't the fault of the young woman who did the service; she tried her best. No communication whatsoever that it will take so long. Since the wine had been brought soon, but the food hadn't arrived 45 minutes after ordering, I needed and wanted a "basis" and asked what I could have "now". Bretzel: no, that would have to be baked first. Spundekäs: yes, it works, and it came after 10 minutes. We raised the criticism of the confusing organization and the long wait for food when paying. Answer: Sorry, it was a difficult day with a lot of hectic activity and unexpected technical problems in the kitchen. The organization, which needs improvement, and the long waiting time are only enough for 3 stars at most. Gives an average of 4 stars, and that's ok. Maybe things will look better on the next visit.
