The location is unique! That's probably why the campsite is so popular. You can enjoy fantastic walks there. It was busy at the campsite, but still quite quiet and peaceful. The restaurant next to the campsite is great! With friendly staff. The man and woman at reception are much less friendly. You have to pay for the showers using a card on which you put money. In itself a good system, but you have to keep pressing the shower head, which is very inconvenient and the water does not get hot. So bad service.

We were there for the first time and rented the Ranger Lodge for 3 days.4 people 2 adults 2 children.Beautifully and functionally furnished for about 6 people. A double bed and 2 single beds inside, a toilet and shower with warm water. In front of it a kitchen/dining/living areaA large table 3 chairs / 1 benchA seating area and a kitchenette, sink, 2-plate cooker, Senseo coffee machine and kettle, refrigerator with freezer compartment.Cups/mugs/plates/cutlery available for 6 people. Pans and pots.In front of it there is a beautiful terrace with a seating area and a table with benchesEat. From here a staircase leads up to a hammock (an absolute hit with the kids) and 2 sleeping places next to it.Everything is clean and great for its purposes. However, if you are traveling in the cooler seasons, you should dress very warmly and bring warm blankets with you.Unfortunately, the small electric heater doesn't even come close to getting the thing warm. And since they are tent walls, you can hear everything that happens inside and outside. When someone goes to the toilet at night it illuminates the bedrooms. The camping facility is clean and well maintained. A bistro nearby offers the opportunity to eat something, the portions are large and very tasty and fresh. Prices relatively normal.Friends of ours stayed in one of the pods, which was really only for a few days. Enough to sleep, they always went to the front to shower because there was only cold water right next to them. The area is a dream, lots of hiking opportunities for big, small, young and old.Lots of parking spaces around. The staff is really nice and there is a large climbing playground. You can pre-order bread rolls for the following day in the bistro and there is a small supermarket nearby. We would definitely come back again.Only the slightly cold, damp air at night in autumn clouded the whole thing a bit.

Pleasant campsite, beautiful surroundings. A minus point is that if the showers are broken, this is not displayed, which would be appreciated if this were to happen.Nice restaurant next to the campsite where you can enjoy delicious food.

We were here for the second time because we absolutely love the area and the hiking opportunities. I would love to give it 5 stars but the cold water problem is still the same. If you have to take a cold shower every day after strenuous tours, it's no longer fun. Nevertheless, we will come back next year and look forward to it

We were there in a motorhome and my son and his girlfriend moved into a tent house (ranger lodge).First of all: great location with great surroundings and nice service staff at the reception. However, the rear sanitary block only had cold showers and the newer one at the front only had 2.5 toilets (one was just for children). So there were traffic jams. I also had two cold showers in four days and had to change. The worst thing, however, was the Ranger Lodge mentioned above!!This only consisted of tent walls and you couldn't get warm at all!!In total, at least 140 kW of heating costs were incurred in three days. From an ecological point of view - complete madness and that at an outside temperature of around 15°!!This property should no longer be available for rent at this time of year!!We found our new tenants only wrapped in blankets(it had gotten colder now)!!I hope the landlords take this to heart.

Campsite in a beautiful location, but the service was not worth it for us. I would certainly not recommend the campsite for transit.Reserved by email and was allocated a place, which turned out to be already occupied upon arrival, a different number was then posted on the reception door (we had to choose it ourselves). Stand there. When we wanted to take a shower, it turned out that you needed a pass, which we did not receive because we were later than reception opening hours.Ultimately we were able to borrow a pass through a very sweet fellow camper, so we could still take a warm shower (after the season). Sanitary facilities were nice, but without a pass you can't do much.We thought this was poor service from the campsite. Not for us again.
