The single room, called the pilgrim room, lives up to its name. The furniture consists of a bed, chair, bedside table and wardrobe, television. There is neither a table nor a shelf. You can't stop anything. Staying in the room is only possible on the bed. Not suitable for hikers.The toilet is from the 60s and appropriate shelves have been created.The breakfast buffet is sufficient.I was missing a room to stay outside of the restaurant because there was no one there after 9 p.m. Lying on the bed in the room is not the solution either.After watching the image film, I had different expectations.

The building doesn't look great from the outside. But you can eat very well and deliciously there. We were also lucky that the waiter had a lot of humor. In short, highly recommended.

The restaurant has been beautifully renovated and modernized, but it seems very dark. Maybe more lights could be turned on. You felt a bit unwelcome. There was no light at all in the toilets. Especially bad for older people. The food was okay, but we had hoped for more for the prices. The service wasn't bad, but the waitresses weren't trying hard either. The food was served, but no one even came to ask if everything was okay. Nobody came to ask for more drinks. To do this you had to go to the counter. There were also comments about house guests (who were there with us) between the staff behind the counter, which we could overhear. Very unprofessional to do something like that in front of guests. Unfortunately there is no changing facility either.

A nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are okay. The breakfast is fine (buffet). In the evening you can enjoy a delicious meal here.

Oh dear...this beer garden was simply perfect! Small, beautiful of course in the countryside. In addition, delicious, good food and tasty drinks (the Viez is great) are served by friendly service staff. The boss welcomed us in a friendly manner (we had reserved a table by email) and took us to our seat in the beer garden. The half hour drive was worth it and we will be visiting there again soon.

Spacious restaurant with a varied menu. Vegetarian, fish, steak, schnitzel.
The personnel was friendly and kept a good eye on the events. No long waiting. The food was good, not exceptional. The Apfelstrudel dessert topped it off for us.

Actually a beautiful property. According to the owner, staff had problems, which was already visible in the cleanliness. That's really a pity. The property and the location suggest otherwise.

Phew, service isn't a given here. The waiting time until we were noticed was forever, and then it took forever until the order was placed. The food came to the table quickly. Before that, the appetizer plate was taken away from us even though we were still chewing. That doesn't work at all. Good taste. At thePay the same, there were four of us and the question of how we wanted to pay wasn't asked. Finally I took the money to the innkeeper. I answered the question whether things were going too slowly for us. Then he got soggy. We probably won't eat here anymore. Overnight stayeverything else is a no go.Addendum!The boss is incapable of criticism. Please tell us about the "flowers" not to stay here again in the future. Please no problem, there is another good hotel in Mettendorf. Our team will feel at home there too.
