Top place on the lake, very quiet... in the low season with 45 euros for 2 people and a motorhome per night... and a shower for 0.50 euros is not possible. Never again

At the moment the reception is only open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. But you can still go to the site and register the next morning. Very nice place right on the Simsee, unfortunately no dogs are allowed so we left the same day.

The location of the campsite is beautiful with a great view of Lake Sims. The pitches are comfortable and beautifully laid out. In my opinion, the sanitary facilities are a bit old. Showering with coins is no longer appropriate. Since the sanitary facilities at a campsite are important to me, we will no longer go there.

We were only there with the caravan for one night, but we really liked the location. Well-kept and quiet place, very friendly management. Points are deducted for the showers, here only warm water with a coin (€0.50). Not ok for the price per night. We were, among other things, Traveled in Slovenia, Croatia and Austria, where showers were included.A positive thing to mention is that you can make online bookings and choose a place even after the reception is closed!!You should definitely try the Rosenheimer beer there 😀👍!We have definitely bookmarked this place for future overnight stays!!

We were touring by bike and spent a night here in the rain. Arrived late, registration by phone or internet was no problem at all. A small covered seating area with a table and, above all, a lounge with a drinks machine were our salvation.

Great campsite. Sanitary facilities clean. Reception is friendly and there are some groceries to buy. The food track is awesome.

For us, Camping Stein was just a one-night stopover. The parking spaces are absolutely sufficient and are easy to get to. Pitches are mostly straight.The location is quiet and right on the lake, which has a long entrance that invites you to swim. There is a snack bar right by the lake. The food there was okay.The staff at Campingstein were friendly.The sanitary and washroom facilities are very old and the cleanliness can be improved. Showering costs 50 CT for 3 minutes. You can't stop time and if you use less, the rest of the water is gone. I've had better experiences with shower cards or something similar. The water in the hand basins in the toilets is only cold and there is no way to dry your hands. 1x towels were always empty.There is a lounge that does NOT invite you to linger. Table tennis and table football are also available in a separate room. To enter it, however, you first have to walk through cobwebs and webs and then find a very dull room in the basement.In the end it was fine for one night, but we wouldn't come back.

Retlaw,finally relax at the lake (Simssee) for a few days again and enjoy the impressions. A beautiful CP from the Stein family and particularly positive, without barking dogs, because they are not welcome here.

We (1 adult, 3 children aged 12 each) stayed at the 'Bene' lodge for 4 days at the beginning of September. It was a very nice, relaxing short vacation. The lake is picturesque and good for bathing and swimming. The space and facilities are very welcoming and thoughtful, quiet and clean (no dogs).

A pleasant little place, beautifully located, with direct access to the lake and a small snack stand. The operators are nice and helpful, so all in all it's actually very good. Unfortunately, the washhouse wasn't cleaned during the time we were there. You saw this especially in the cubicles in the washroom; everything was stuck to the consoles. That wasn't nice and was hopefully just due to a temporary shortage of staff, because we would like to come back.

I really like the Stein family campsite and feel very comfortable here!The reception is very well organized and no matter who you ask, you always get a friendly answer.What I like is the food truck and the steckerlfisch! Great campsite, quiet, central, clean. Food truck on site, rolls. Beautiful lake for swimming, playground. Small place very familiar. Great for families even with small children, great for people who don't want to go to crowded tourist places and are looking for peace and quiet.
