Also ideal for a day trip. The extensive monastery park right on the lake invites you to relax. The freely accessible areas of today's conference hotel are extremely interesting from a historical and artistic perspective. Always worth a detour. Always my pleasure...

Disappointing. I'll keep it short: The night in the hotel was incredibly loud, I couldn't get a wink of sleep until 4:00 a.m. because there was always some loud partygoers in the hallways. I wouldn't necessarily describe myself as sensitive, but the night was totally lost. When I complained about this at checkout, I was made aware that it was my own fault and that I should have complained about it that night. No accommodation, not even a word of regret.

The building and the location are an experience and the breakfast buffet is also benchmark, except for the opening times (only until 9:30 a.m.)!Our room, number 45, was generously sized and even had wheelchair-accessible facilities (= plenty of space in the bathroom, low door handles, etc.).The building is in very good condition and it's fun to explore the different corners. However, due to the relatively complex building structure, it is easy to get lost. For loading and unloading you can drive directly from the reception in the inner courtyard. You have to walk a few steps to park. The photo shows the view from our room window.A small point of criticism is that the rooms do not have the usual technical equipment such as a coffee machine or kettle (we were told because of fire safety).Despite the good performance, the price of 200 euros per night for a double room including breakfast was actually too high for us.

Dream location, a "special place", rooms very modernly furnished, simple but high quality, great location | But unfortunately unfriendly staff at the reception, snobbish, disinterested, think guests are stupid by …

I don't recommend it. We came for 3 nights and only stayed for 1. There is no air conditioning in the rooms and it is full of spiders both inside and out. We asked for a fan at night and they told us they didn't have one, so we should put a towel with cold water on our heads. Horrible, very bad experience.

I came to Seeon Monastery for a conference and was impressed by the facility, the staff and the location. It is in an idyllic location surrounded by a swimming lake (which was very clean and had pleasant temperatures to swim in) with connection to the small town of Seeon. The room had everything you needed. However, there was no refrigerator in the room (that should be noted if anyone is expecting one), the bed was very comfortable and the view of the lake was simply beautiful. Especially in the morning when the sun rises, I was able to watch the spectacle from my room wonderfully. The food in the hotel was very tasty, varied and beautiful to look at. Above all, you don't see the honeycomb at breakfast every day. It was also the first time I ate honeycomb like this (super tasty!). The employees were also consistently friendly and attentive. Especially in the evening in the monastery room, the encounter with the bar staff was extremely nice and pleasant. We were able to use the bowling alley on site and spent a few lovely evening hours here.Everything about the conference rooms was also well equipped and well organized. All in all, this is a really great place for body and soul. It's definitely worth a visit (and if not overnight, then there's also the monastery restaurant).

We spent one night here and were very happy with everything. Our room was very clean, there was nothing to complain about. Towels, water and gummy bears were provided. We had to look for the safe a bit(cabinet under the TV)The breakfast had a very good selection. No wish should be left unfulfilled, even for vegetarians. In the restaurant you can enjoy the great view of the lake with delicious food. The view of the lake was beautiful.Hotel guests can jump into the lake via a private jetty. Highly recommended, thatWater was warm and clean. We were fascinated and consider one night not enough. We'll be back.

Worth seeing monastery complex on a peninsula. Used as a conference venue and star hotel. A beautiful ensemble in a wonderful setting.

Very disappointing!!We spent two nights in Seeon Monastery on our way back from South Tyrol. The beautiful location of the hotel and the elaborate, high-quality restoration of the entire monastery complex with tax money...unfortunately did not make us feel comfortable. There are several reasons for this. Overall, we unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel at all. Every small inn in the area exudes more warmth and hospitality. The hotel seems to be designed more for seminars, not for individual tourists looking for a hospitable, soothing atmosphere. The restoration was probably intended to create a monastic, puristic atmosphere. We found this rather cheerless, barren, bare and colorless. This also applies to the greeting at reception and the service at dinner on the lakeside terrace. See further review. The double room that was booked in November 2023 had the desired view of the lake. However, the bathroom was completely wheelchair accessible. nice for wheelchair users, but for normal hotel guests without notice in advance a complete NOGO for such a hotel, see photo. The pictures on the booking site do not correspond to this bathroom either. There are probably enough normal double rooms in this house, also considering that we had already booked a long time ago. We were speechless. There is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to communication with the guest... it can't be that difficult. By the way, after 10 days of written contact after our arrival in the room, there has still been no response from management/reception. This does not show a high level of commitment to the well-being of the guests.

A great environment and the monastery invite you to explore. The rooms are very clean, well maintained and stylish in combination with the monastery. The breakfast was also good with a large selection and fresh foods. The only drawback: There is absolutely no service concept. The staff at the reception and at the buffet are neither helpful nor hospitable. That's a shame and spoils the overall experience a little.
