The ambience and atmosphere in the old walls is always very pleasant. However, the cleanliness in the rooms has now deteriorated significantly. There is dust. In several nooks and crannies. This makes the coffee machine in the room unappetizing. There used to be a 1a breakfast. Lovingly prepared. Today it is undervalued. The same applies to dinner. Higher prices for less quality. The tables are too small and chairs are uncomfortable. At least the guests get a blanket because it is too cold and therefore uncomfortable. Fletcher does a poor job here. Too bad

It's all in the details and they understand that well at the beautiful Fletcher hotel “Château De Raay”.The hotel is beautifully located and beautifully maintained. The details have been carefully considered and that always makes the experience a little more complete. We enjoyed a delicious high tea in the restaurant and the staff helped us very well and enthusiastically. We have been to many Fletcher locations and for the first time we got the story behind the name“Fletcher” can be heard. It is not our place to tell you here, but it would be nice if the staff at other locations also shared this with the guests. We definitely recommend this location. If you go there, enjoy it!

Dirty room, unmanned reception, restaurant but such and such. The room is full of cobwebs, the shower head is dirty. No water in the room, only soap, no shampoo, no conditioner. …

Unfortunately very disappointing. We had a room in the annex for 3 nights. The carpet in the room was very stained. Due to the construction, the beds were poorly made and not pushed together or crooked. The light bulb was missing from the bedside lamp. The sink in the bathroom was very high and certainly difficult for smaller people to reach. The bathtub had a fixed shower screen and was poorly positioned, so you had to climb into the tub to close the stopper for the bath water. The cleaning staff would probably have to do the climbing in process every day. Unfortunately this doesn't happen and the joints and silicone are black. The separate toilet is very noisy. You have the feeling you are sitting in the middle of a train station. Very inconvenient at night. Toothbrush cup made of thin plastic wrapped in foil. Coffee cups in the room made of cardboard. You get 2/day.Breakfast is average and the same every day. The paper placemat with self-promotion reminded us of fast food restaurants. We do a lot of weekend trips and are really used to better things. Too bad.We definitely won't be coming back.

3 course dinner. Chilly atmosphere. Slow operation. Plus point was a young man who served us. Friendly. Thoughtful. The food was tasty. Sufficient.

For a Fletcher hotel it is fine and the location remains really beautiful. But we were also here a few years ago before it was taken over and we really had a more luxurious feeling then. For example, the room was now quite dusty, the pillows quite thin and flaky and you could feel the thick seams on the mattress: which would be easy to solve with, for example, a thin topper on top. The food was mostly decent (except for one dish that was way too salty), but nothing special. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, that wasn't the fault! All in all it was fine, but slightly less than we expected based on previous experiences.
