Went there for coffee with cake.It is very loud due to the conversations of others who speak so loudly.The table and carpet were a bit dirty, probably from breakfast.

What can I say, two cakes two coffee 20 € 🤣 🤣 🤣 Just without words. I said to my wife, let's take a look at the map. Everything is really great, but I don't have to have 20 €. We won't come back. It's actually a shame that many coffee shops and restaurants will ruin themselves in the long run.

It's a nice little hotel right on the Weser. The staff is very nice and attentive. Our window looked directly out onto the Weser and you could see the ships sailing from our bed.What we were missing were towel racks in the bathroom and insect screens in front of the window for the summer. Where there is water there are mosquitoes. Unfortunately we had to leave the window open at night. Still happy to come back.

We went on holiday for 14 days in the best weather. Good starting point in all directions.The entire package from the hotel was convincing.The location on the Weser dike, rooms and terrace nice. .It was still interesting. Opposite the golden sands of Harriersand invites you to relax. The boss and the entire staff are competent and authentic. The delicious food and great events like the gourmet breakfast on Sundays rounded off the heap. Thank you again for the lovely stay with you.

The only thing that is rated here is drinking coffee on the terrace. Without a reservation we were able to sit on the terrace in the afternoon. The cakes or cake menu was sufficiently filled with 4-5 cakes/tarts. The price-performance ratio is okay. The cake was quite large and tasted good too. Only the service could have been a little friendlier.

In Wiechmann's Weserhotel I received an intensive course in the discipline: How do I scare away my guests so permanently that they never come back?1. BookingWhen I booked by phone, I wasn't told that there would be a party with loud disco music on the ground floor on the night I booked.When I wanted to cancel breakfast for my wife, I was told that breakfast was included in the price anyway (this is also the case when booking through Booking.com).2. NoiseOn the night we booked, the humming of the bass in the room was so loud that sleep was impossible.3. Polite inquiryAt around 10:30 p.m. I called the reception and politely asked how long the celebration would last. I had the boss on the phone who told me it could be around 1:00 or 1:30 a.m.In the following conversation, the boss proved to be completely incompetent and completely talentless when it came to customer contact:- She claimed she was sure she had informed me about the celebration when I booked it. (But I had booked with her daughter in her home office.)- She doubted that the bass could be heard in the room.- She called me too sensitive.- She offered to let me change hotels (impossible at 10:30 p.m. in Brake).- She said that she couldn't end the party because of me (I didn't even ask for that).- She said she wanted to discuss it with me the next morning.No "I'm sorry."Not the slightest offer of compensation.Nothing.Nothing at all.4. The next morningThe boss wasn't there.On my way to breakfast (09:30) I was informed that I hadn't booked breakfast, so I wasn't allowed to have breakfast. It had already been cleared away anyway.When I then told the employee about my experiences, she didn't seem particularly surprised. She promised that she would personally advocate for my interests - but not with the boss, but with Mr. Wiechmann. Mr. Wiechmann will contact me.The interested reader can guess whether someone from management has contacted us. Instead, I received an email from the restaurant manager apologizing for the noise. No offer of compensation here either.There are so many great jobs without customer contact. Why ...?It's good that there is the small, personal hotel "Ambiente" a few doors away. It also has rooms with a view of the Weser, the breakfast is better, and it's even a little cheaper.
