... from the first minute it was fun to sit in this restaurant with the family. We were welcomed by the boss with a handshake and a quick saying! As if we were regulars and had known each other forever.... He laughed and had the right answer to everything and a perfect joke!Orders were taken very quickly and drinks and food were served at the same time. Of course with great sayings... 😁 We have rarely laughed so much and been able to joke around with a host... Really great!The food was very, very tasty and the portions were more than enough! Even the greatest hunger will be satisfied there! Promised.My personal recommendation: Schnitzel! 👍🏻Thank you for the lovely hours! We'll be back! 😎

As always, beautiful and delicious 😋 It wasn't the first time I've been there, it's been there for a few years.I can really recommend it to everyone.Food is really freshly prepared and very generous portions.We come back every year.And therefore 5 stars 🌟 more than deserved.

Every time a pleasure and the "complete lack of desire"... the schnitzels are a dream... attentive and friendly service from the landlord and his wife... We are and will remain repeat offenders...😋🍻

It's hard to get there, the food is great and the landlord is very nice.The draft beer was very tasty and the inn was very cozy.

My husband knows the owner from his time as an exchange student in Somsdorf. We stayed here on a trip in 2017, and are excited to stay again soon. The owner is lovely, the inn is clean, and the food is delicious!

Very nice village inn with an even nicer beer garden. There is home cooking that there is nothing wrong with - so it is very tasty. A bowl of fresh water and a treat are given to the dog without asking. We often hike in the area and are happy when we can stop there for a rest - the inn is often very busy.

We were there spontaneously as a group. It was very empty. But we were asked what we could think of to stop in with a group of 15 people. When asked, the response was poor.1. Wasn't shouted. It should be clear that there will be louder conversations on Men's Day. When you open and have an extra men's day menu on the tables...2. We sat down at the largest table. And a small table for 4 was set up. That means don't rearrange if 36 seats are empty!3. We waited 15 minutes for the host4. Can you look for a conversation beforehand and not slam your beer on the table and complain to yourself as you walk away?Neither side had anything to gain from this visit. What a shame!5. The sound always makes the music, even after a private conversation there was no progress.

The food is always a poem. No pompous menu, just home cooking, but really tasty. And the host is great.
