I stayed one night and was more than disappointed. The price and the quality of the room does definetly not add up. You had to close the outside shutters to prevent the street lights from disturbing your rest. Moreover the room opens to a very busy/noisy road. The sanitary installation were really awkward. 105€/night it is not worthwhile keeping in mind the breakfast comes on top of it. This I‘d rather skipped and went to bakery shop which smelled better for my taste than the sticky restaurant. It reminds me to a hostel standard and surely not for such an excessive price. Won’t come back here.

We ate there once for lunch and once for dinner on vacation in July 2024.The food met our taste expectations and was appetizingly presented on elegant dishes.The fish was fried to perfection, and the venison goulash, spaetzle, salad and the soups also tasted great.The service was very friendly and accommodating... (old school, which is not uncommon), we can recommend with a clear conscience.

We were there at the main meal time at 6:30 p.m. (after prior reservation by telephone). The service was very friendly and quick, even though “the place was buzzing,” to put it casually. Chicken schnitzel XXL with fries and a small side salad - lives up to its name, Jägerschnitzel with spaetzle in the “normal version”, more than sufficient. Quality overall very good - price performance is right. We'll be back!We were there a second time - on a Saturday evening. It wasn't full, but the outside area was also occupied. The boss himself served and also recommended off-menu recommendations. It was again very tasty and we felt comfortable. So a clear recommendation!

I love Bavarian cosiness (or what I consider it to be). the dining room was nice to look at, the food was good, I ate my standard. Meat patties with sauce and fries. Actually, I should have eaten some of the many Hungarian dishes on offer.

Dinner for 4 people. The Munich Schitzel was quite fatty with mustard (you can make it that way, I know differently, only horseradish) and the potatoes, but all in all good. The XXL schnitzel was ok and no problem for a good eater. The decorative tomatoes were once roasted but cold, the salad somehow lacked motivation and had a hidden design at the bottom, topless, a bit unusual. The pork roast felt like it was 3 degrees thick, the sauce with it was more like curry (don't you make it more like paprika) and a lot of garlic. The food was served very quickly and wasn't really hot. The toilet and entrance area were a bit dark but we then found the light switches. Large parking lot with charging station. The lady in service was really very friendly and nice.

The new operator has renovated the restaurant beautifully and is finally making Bavarian cuisine again. The prize menu has a good selection of Bavarian and Hungarian dishes and the Augustiner beer is also our favorite.I found the food (several times now) really tasty and the prices were also appropriate.The rooms and beer garden will probably be renovated soon.I will come more often, I can only recommend it.

So today we drove by there and tested it. Arrived really late, so the lunch business was already over. But the innkeeper served us without any problems. A meeeega schnitzel. Tasty and rich with salad. This is what our plates looked like :) You just have to recommend something like this.
