Very nice rooms, I can't rate the service. Nice rooms for further education/training. Dining room with kitchen on the ground floor. Beautiful garden with a small gallery. There is a lot of love in the details.

We have booked the entire facility for a family celebration. Everyone had a very nice and relaxing weekend there. The outdoor area is very large with three ponds. The outdoor area could be a little better maintained, but I certainly have different views than others (I'm a gardener and landscaper). Still very artistic and nice. Nothing was missing. The owners are very friendly and helped us with any questions and solved any problems immediately. The rooms, bathroom, kitchen, etc. were very well maintained and clean.

Our experiences coincide with those of Sarah Sahara. For us too, the costs continued to increase and unfortunately we hadn't put anything in writing. For us, however, it was “only” the stag party and fortunately we had a different location for the wedding. So if you do, be sure to put everything in writing!

We celebrated our wedding this summer with 70 people (there shouldn't have been more - according to the landlord, 100 P. would easily fit in - if you want to sit like pegs, good) in the "barn" and had the front outdoor area as well. We also took advantage of the overnight accommodations. The rooms are modern, clean and individually furnished. There are little corners everywhere in the outdoor area where there is something to discover.Unfortunately, the landlord didn't talk openly with us about the costs right from the start. In addition to the initially stated price, hidden costs that were never mentioned were gradually added. And then trying to convince ourselves that we must have forgotten this information because of the “wedding stress” is a bit cheeky. Money matters MUST be communicated openly beforehand, then it won't be a problem. So please have everything in writing!! Due to time constraints, we couldn't back down on the location. We had looked at the room beforehand for the celebration (in winter, it was used as a storage area, so everything was ok). We were aware that we would have to spend a certain amount of time getting it ready (we did a lot of it ourselves). However, we were not aware that nothing had happened in the past few months since the inspection. If I know that there will be a wedding there soon, then as a landlord I can at least do basic things a few days in advance: sweep through, remove the numerous dead flies from the window sills, repair broken windows, make defective tables and chairs ready for use, empty bottles clear away the last party, have toilets "ready" (a toilet (for 70 p.!) is available in the guesthouse, an additional one was provisionally "prepared") etc etc... When we went one day! Wanted to decorate before the wedding, NOTHING like that was done.I can certainly ask not to have to worry about these things. When it came to things that we couldn't sort out ourselves (e.g. leaving the fridge running overnight or keeping the cake cold), we often had to "run after" and remind them that it still needed to be done. Makes you wonder what you pay the rent for? It looked like S... We had to clean everything up ourselves and on top of that we were charged for the day (on which we cleared the ship there, from which everyone could certainly benefit).Nobody can imagine what the room looked like before, how much time and work we put into it and what we ultimately made of it.No question, we had a great day and the atmosphere in the evening was wonderful. Here the landlord kindly left tealight bags along the path in the evenings. But you can and want to avoid all the stress surrounding it. That annoyed us a lot and got on one or two nerves.

The last time I was there was almost two decades ago. It's nice to see that there are still figures by Mr. Wolfgang Müller to admire, it brings back great memories.
