We were here with our club and used the base camp. It was empty except for us. We had a barbecue hut, which is highly recommended. The houses are very simply furnished, parking is nearby. The toilets were quickly reached and clean. For the price it's perfectly fine, you just have to keep that in mind. There were no sausages included in the grill package, which surprised us.

We were here visiting our grandparents over Christmas and have stayed in one of the holiday apartments/houses for the third time. Each apartment was super clean, well maintained and very well equipped! There were hardly any other people here over Christmas, which is why living was very quiet. We were here once in the summer when it got a little louder due to a soccer team (the staff immediately took care of the noise at night!). The employees are very friendly, courteous and helpful. The swimming pool itself is a must for slide lovers. The sauna area is also very nice, you can relax here! The bathroom is definitely an experience for the family and offers something for every taste! The holiday village has its own parking lot, so you don't have to carry your luggage far to the accommodation.

We visited our parents for Christmas and stayed in one of the beautiful sunshine houses over the holidays. We were very enthusiastic about the house - large, spacious and modernly furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped and, in addition to complete crockery and a large refrigerator, there is also a dishwasher. There was enough space for everyone. The children's rooms are accessible via stairs, but that wasn't a problem for us. It was clean and there is also a small welcome gift. We will come back in any case.

The holiday home is small but really sufficient! There is space for 7 people if you use the couch! Why does the house get 3 stars from me? It's simply dirty and a lot is broken! We saved a lot of money through the Valentine's Day offer, but when I think about it, other people pay so much money and then end up in a house where even a 7-year-old child says eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee with mom, look at the closet, that's a shame!I didn't even have to look to find all sorts of cobwebs and dirty corners! The wall in the dining area should be painted over, the silicone in the bathroom on the heater should be replaced, the shower door should be refinished!Estetig looks different says my husband 😀We've repaired the toaster first and I'm attaching a few pictures!I would like to emphasize it's not the end of the world, but given the prices, managers should also wipe or at least vacuum the corners!

I took my daughter to the band camp in Pettenberg. I saw a house where they spend the weekend. I was very surprised at how clean and very well equipped the house is. Really recommended. The Aquamagis is also right next door.

2 nights at the resort - Nice, but never againThe houses in the resort can compete with those in a CenterParc etc. They are big enough, the kitchen is well equipped (OK, we missed a few potholders ;-) ) and garden furniture and clothes racks are available. As a welcome there were also 2 beers and 2 taps on the table. Thanks!but:The "children's room" (at least in the 4-person house) can only be reached via a very steep staircase and has no door. So it was unsuitable for us as a children's room and we adults squeezed ourselves into the "little room" under the roof. At least a sliding door would be desirable here.We found a nail clipper and used chewing gum under the bedside table, which we moved to get to the socket, but otherwise the house was clean overall. When we arrived we followed the signs that said to check in at the base camp's "Info Point" - but it was deserted and there were no instructions on what to do. We then tried it at the indoor pool ticket office, which turned out to be correct, but meaningful instead of false information signs would be nice.Speaking of false signs: there were menus from the restaurant in the indoor swimming pool in the house with the information that you could order food by phone until 7:30 p.m. and have it delivered or pick it up yourself (then you could also get a free Piccolo for orders of €10 or more). Unfortunately no one picked up the phone at 6:00 p.m., so I went to the restaurant to order, only to be told at 6:20 p.m. that the restaurant had been closed since 5:00 p.m. The following day it was even completely closed! Unfortunately, the two ladies on site were completely ignorant and incompetent and could not give any explanation for this faux pas. They didn't even offer an apology (neither verbally nor, for example, in the form of a voucher for the bistro or at least the Piccolo). There is a great pirate ship on the resort grounds, which is obviously a playground equipment - but unfortunately entry is prohibited. This is even more annoying because there is a calisthenics area and a slackline - but no children's playground! Very disappointing for the kids.

The pitches could be cheaper for swimming guests, especially as Ruhrtopcard holders the pitches are overpriced if you have to pay for each person in the motorhome.

The swimming pool with all its attractions was lovingly developed step by step and the details in the individual areas have grown through experience. The surrounding businesses were professionally involved and appropriately compensated throughout the entire process. However, the behavior of some Plettenbergs leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. Regardless of age, some people seem to have no regard for other guests. An example: On a Sunday morning around 11:00 a.m. we discovered two free loungers in the children's pool area. A family behind us sent their youngest son to occupy the loungers in front of us. When I put my bag on a lounger, the father came and claimed they were her loungers. Despite my questions, he insisted that the behavior was justified. In the entire swimming pool, over 70% of the loungers were unoccupied, but reserved with towels, as if the Plettenbergers owned the pool.We also rented a house that was nice and well-equipped. However, we had to make and remove the beds ourselves. Even though the floor was mopped, we found clouds of dust in many corners. Drinks for the first day were provided free of charge.Overall, the pool itself was great, but the interpersonal experiences were disappointing. We are unsure what is going on in this region, but we will not be visiting Plettenberg again.
