I am traveling around the world for the last 30+ years. It's the WORST hotel I have ever stayed. If I could give zero star ⭐ I would. Before saying anything for the hotel, when we were asked to pay the lady said that she couldn't accept Greek credit cards. We paid 80€ per night for a room with shared toilet and shower ... I thought this couldn't happen in 2024. The next four days we changed room with a toilet and shower inside the room but the closet was bigger than the WC.The "hotel" is built in the corner of two highways, causing a lot of noice in the room.Honestly I would prefer staying in the car rather going to that place again!

My stay at the Hotel Marheineke in Hildesheim was a complete success! As soon as I checked in I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt welcome. The staff is extremely friendly and always strives to make the guests' stay as pleasant as possible. My room was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. I particularly liked the comfortable bed and the quiet location, which ensured a restful night. The room's amenities left nothing to be desired, including free Wi-Fi and a modern bathroom. The breakfast at the Hotel Marheineke was excellent - a diverse selection of fresh and delicious dishes that left nothing to be desired. The location of the hotel is also ideal.Overall, I can only warmly recommend the Hotel Marheineke. I will definitely come back and am already looking forward to my next stay!

On the phone I was told I had to pay €42 for the room, even though it said €35 online. The reason was the VAT increase from January. I froze during the night. The heater was down. The breakfast was ok as well as the sanitary facilities. The room could be a bit more modern.

Small, nice older hotel with the character of a guesthouse. The rooms are spartan but absolutely clean and the hostess is very nice 👍. However, you should skip the breakfast as it is completely overpriced with some cold cuts (sausage, cheese), jam/honey, overcooked eggs and baked rolls.

Overall I'm OK. The breakfast is solid and good. The rooms are always cleaned properly and properly. The woman at reception is very nice and accommodating. The only negative points are the WiFi (which keeps dropping out) and the size of the built-in bathrooms. The noise is relatively humane even though it is surrounded by roads or a highway (so at least I can sleep well). 😉👍

Very cosy, spartan, but very clean and neat. Lovely hosts, welcoming and helpful. Great German food, where there is enough. Good place to spend the night when you are passing through, regardless of whether you are alone or with your family. We have spent the night there when traveling south for more than the last 10 years. :-)

I haven't had something so bad in a long time. It's on a driveway on a fast road from early in the morning to late at night, you have no peace and shower in the hallway with six, up to eight people sharing
