Fantastic holiday let with fresh bread and jam, allowing kids to roam and play free with trikes and tractors, animals, trampolines, table football, air hockey, pony rides, playgrounds and much more. Maximilian Park with amazing playground, Vitus Bad for swimming and much more around.

We were at Ferienhof Schwienhorst for the second time in the summer of 2024 with our children and grandma. The apartments are simply furnished but very clean and well maintained. The facility offers great options for the children: playground, trampoline, rides, indoor options in bad weather. The host family puts a lot of effort into ensuring that all guests have a great time. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back :-)

We were here several times as children 20 years ago and now again with the next generation and our own children! Just beautiful! The farm makes children's hearts beat faster and offers all sorts of things, whether it's sunny or raining. The animals are a highlight and the service and proximity to the Schwienhorst family is top! Our holiday apartment was much more “modern” than can be seen on the website. Smaller excursions are also really nice! Whether it's a walk with Pony Speedy, a visit to the market, a nearby farm shop or the old town of Warendorf, it's definitely worth the few minutes' drive. However, the farm also offers a lot of options on site with a great playground, a large trampoline (which was a hit for our daughter) and a number of rides (bobby car, go-kart, etc.)! We'll definitely be back!!

We stayed at the Schwienhorst holiday farm with the family. Overall we had a nice time there. The offer for big and small children with a play barn, playground, animals and vehicles is really great. Drinks, eggs and more can be purchased on site. There is also a bread roll service.We deducted one star because everything (rooms, vehicles, games barn, etc.) is getting old, as is the farm as a whole. This could be made even more loving and beautiful in places with little effort.

Highly Recommended! Stayed as a large family in the holiday apartment “Unter der Remise” for a weekend at the holiday farm. Not only the children, we adults also had a great and unforgettable time. So much to experience: petting rabbits and cats, riding a pony, playing ball with two lovely dogs, running around in the straw barn, driving lots of vehicles and so on...it's great. Many thanks to the lovely and friendly host family. We felt very welcome and would love to come back!

We have been here several times on holiday with our children.The children are thrilled by the mix of animals and play options. Sometimes you can lend a hand and pony riding and tractor driving are sometimes possible. If you have special requests, the farm family will try to help wherever possible.In the morning, pre-ordered rolls are hung on the door for everyone.Really very pleasant environment and people, we're going back next week. Of course it's not a 5 star hotel with full service but you wouldn't expect that on a family-run farm.We can highly recommend it.

Absolutely recommended! Super friendly hosts and everything available to make children's hearts beat faster. Please don't be put off by the partly outdated photos. The apartments are in a modern and well-maintained condition. The bread roll service is also great.

Wonderful for families.The Schwienhorst family is super nice. The kids love it here: cats, rabbits, hay bales, chickens, pigs and Pomy Speedy :)The apartments are large and well equipped. WiFi also works well.We are here for the second time and would love to come back.

The farm is beautifully designed, but the descent proved to be a bit difficult as it is quite hidden outside of larger towns. The stay was great. The rooms are relatively simple without a lot of furnishings but definitely enough for your stay. The kitchen was well equipped, but some kitchen appliances such as a kettle or coffee machine were missing. The hosts were super nice, helpful and relaxed. We were offered many options to spend our time there. We were allowed to ride ponies ourselves and even play with the puppies. All in all, only recommended. The experience is worth it
