We stayed with the Kirchner family for 6 nights with our two children. The two of them are very warm hosts and super nice. The apartment may be old-fashioned for some, but for us it was very, very comfortable. Thanks to the wooden furniture and the large windows with a wonderful view. Great value for money. It is very quiet here and there is no through traffic, only those who live on this street. The cycle path starts right outside the front door and we drove to the Milseburg tunnel with our children. A beautiful path through the countryside. The tunnel will be closed from November to April. We also had storage space for our bikes to lock up.Two cats, 3 rabbits and a goat also belong on the farm. The apartment had everything we needed and was a nice size. It was nice and warm in the apartment too, which was good when coming back to the apartment on a cooler, wet day.Hilders is 2-3 minutes away by car. There are supermarkets and DM here.A lovely relaxing holiday.Thank you very much.

I was there last week with my grandma and my cousin. We were greeted very nicely. The apartment is clean, sweetly furnished and has everything you need. We rented bikes and explored the area all day. Staying at the holiday farm was a highlight of my holiday and we will definitely be back. Greetings Sophie

We went with our little daughter to the Kirchner family's small animal farm for a week and spent a wonderfully varied week. The yard is very well maintained and is decorated with Ms. Kirchner's beautiful, colorful flowers. It's nice and quiet and you can listen to nature. Some small animals have a home here, such as: B. 2 goats, rabbits who love to be fed, chickens with fresh eggs and of course the sweet kittens who love to be played with and petted and are very trusting. There are also a variety of children's vehicles on which children can let off steam in the large yard, a trampoline, table tennis table and bicycles. So perfect for small children who want to have their first experience with a farm. The apartments are perfectly clean (kudos to Ms. Kirchner!)A lot of attention is paid to cleanliness here and the rooms are beautifully furnished and have an 80s feel, which is really very comfortable. The Kirchner family is very caring and takes excellent care of their guests. Here you get the feeling that you belong and are a member of the family.Ms. Kirchner even did our laundry😍They really have their hearts in the right place and want guests to feel at home here. You can also have a great chat with them.Mr. Kirchner even goes on a short tractor tour where the guests are driven through the beautiful landscape while sitting on a sofa. You can grill outside and there is also comfortable seating for eating outside. The location is excellent and you can experience a lot here.Thuringia and Bavaria are in close proximity. There is something for everyone here and a paradise for families with children. If you ever need an idea, the Kichners here know their stuff. Both go to great lengths to ensure that the guests don't miss anything. We will come back in any case!!!Kirchner Farm is a farm with a heart 💗 and the fresh apples taste so delicious 😋😋Your Heinermann family

We were able to recover from the hustle and bustle of the big city with the Kirchner family. The holiday apartment was spotlessly clean, everything had been thought of and nothing was missing. The farm is an ideal starting point for various excursions. Thank you for this lovely stay.

For the 6th time in the Kirchner's holiday apartment. This time unfortunately only 4 days, but this onewere very relaxing and we did a lot. The cycle path right in front of the door and the hiking suggestions “Extra Tours” and “Premium Hiking Trails” are very well signposted.Nobody gets lost here! The Kirchners always have an ear for their guests. We have already booked again for July and are really looking forward to it.

This “farm vacation” was a complete failure. After staying for 3 days we canceled our vacation. We really didn't have high expectations for the price, but we would be extremely disappointed. A farm with petting animals, a playground, an XXL trampoline, a sandpit, a swing, a carousel, a lounge with a table tennis table, an apartment with a balcony, a bicycle rental and many vehicles for children, an outdoor area with a barbecue area were described. All of this in a quiet place where children can play safely on the street and not far from the farm you will find Aura Beach, a super beautiful spot on a stream that invites you to splash around. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different: the apartment under the attic was very old, I guess the stove was from around the 70s. We looked for a balcony in vain and the mattresses were so worn out that I woke up in the morning with back pain. The cot is an old travel cot, which without exaggeration can be life-threatening as there is a good 50cm between the cot and the mattress. There was a smell of old fryer grease everywhere, which I actually found very unpleasant. However, everything was really very clean. In the yard itself there is a small trampoline on a small meadow that is pretty broken and old. You can't close the zipper and you have to stick with it because a makeshift staircase was built with a railing that extends right into the missing zipper and the pieces of rubber mat over the springs of the trampoline tend to slip. The meadow itself is supposed to be the playground, but it is already pretty full with the trampoline and there is a small tree with spiky leaves on it, which of course are also everywhere on the meadow. The lounge was filled with loads of bicycles, each of which needed some kind of repair, and unfortunately there were only two helmets. Unfortunately, the table tennis table was also unusable, and the rackets were already very worn out and the net could no longer be attached . The carousel was rusty and no longer usable, the only thing left of the swing was the frame, which was also pretty rusty. We found the sandbox after a long search. There was a sandstone flower box at the stable filled with sand, but unfortunately even my 2 year old couldn't fit in it. Now to the “petting animals”. There are rabbits that sit in a small wooden stable and a small grid on the meadow where you can put the rabbits in. The children can simply take the bunnies and push them around the yard in the doll's pram, which I forbade my children to do. On the second day we found out that a rabbit once bit off a piece of a boy's finger. So no bunnies for the kids. The goats stood at the end of a steep staircase in a meadow with an open stable. They were nice, but you had to be very careful because they wanted to eat everything, shoelaces, pants, hats, hair, it didn't matter. Then there were chickens in a gobble and 3 cows tied up in the barn, which were picked up on our departure day. We then wanted to make the most of it and went to Aura Beach. This was a place where the road and stream intersect and where the neighbor's tractor drove through and lost its manure from the trailer all around it. Definitely not a suitable place to splash around. There isn't much to do in the area, so we decided to cut our vacation short. Ms. Kirchner seemed offended and rejected our criticism. Instead she became insulting and tried to explain to me that I had to take care of my children. She then demanded the full price for the whole week, which we paid her and left. I can only advise against this vacation!

Unfortunately we were only able to travel for 3 days. The former farm is an oasis of relaxation. The Kirchner couple were very hospitable and helpful for route planning. The apartment was clean and we didn't miss anything. The bike paths right outside the door. We'll be back very quickly! Thanks to for the great!

Super nice family and lots of play equipment but everything is very old and the animals are all locked away. No farm feeling. Still nice for little kids in the yard and as a start for excursions. Cheap!
