Travelled here with Caledonian travel as this is the hotel they use on the Germany tour. It's very basic, rooms were clean and beds were comfy. I wouldn't recommend for elderly as there are lots of steps and the hotel is on a steep hill. The patio area is a great place to sit out and have a relaxing drink, which are reasonably priced.

Went on a Caledonian Coach trip.|Coach - good, clean|Driver - good|Itinerary - good (need to be aware of toilet breaks for “Customers”). Three hours after breakfast is brutal. Some older people suffered. …

🇬🇧 Just returned from a 5 day break to Rhine Valley & Cologne with Harry Shaw. Lovely clean spacious hotel rooms, food was plentiful. First night we arrived very late check in was swift and there was soup & sandwiches waiting for our arrival of a coach load of guests. Breakfast was self service continental. Evening meal was served to the table with some self service for salad and a lovely BBQ on the last evening. No kettle in room so took my own tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Hairdryer was available & TV if you could understand German never used it as we were too busy out exploring. Had a beautiful boat cruise along the river Rhine just down the road from the hotel. Only negative was there were no shops nearby to purchase food/snacks/ice cream etc there was a couple restaurants nearby however we never used them. There was a Lidl 5 -10 minute drive in a vehicle down the road.A great holiday thank you Andreas & team for the brilliant hospitality 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The food was disgusting with cigarette ashes in my water loads of bugs such as centipedes and the room smelt horrible . The sink was outside the toilet and so many stairs making it very tiresome to walk up. Do not go to this hotel the food gave me a stomache on the first night.

Cigarette Ash in the water. DO NOT TRY THE CREAM ASPARAGUS SOUP! bugs in the rooms (centipedes, spiders, cockroaches, etc), uphill to get to and right outside a church which is quite loud, the food was very bland or tasted disgusting, stank of smoke everywhere, no WiFi in the rooms and tiny toilets, the beds were very squeaky and not comfy, the pillows had stains, hair in the food and the chicken wasn't cooked well/ pink, all of the sauces tasted horrible DO NOT TRY.

This hotel was like an experience straight out of my worst nightmare. The food was barely edible, especially the soup which even if you asked the chef he didn’t know what it was made of. …

Bed was comfy, lots of corridors, but once you got your bearings it was fine. Staff were kind and so helpful. The owner was a character, such a livewire. From host to dj. Food was good and tasty. New experiences, embrace the all. Smashing family run place

I stayed at the hotel Wagner with a large group, namely the Unity Concert band. We were made very welcome, especially when we arrived nearly 2 hours late because of roadworks. …

My two sons and I stayed here as part of a Harry Shaw holiday.||This is in a lovely setting in the Rhine Valley. Some of the places to visit are quite far away and maybe I should have googled that beforehand.  …
