Very friendly staff.And a great view.The food was down-to-earth and very tasty.The view from the terrace is very nice and there is a swing for the children.There were also sheep 🐑 next to the terrace to the delight of the children 😄.I had the goulash for lunch and it was delicious.The others were also happy with their food, delicious.It was a great afternoon there.

I've now been to the Schöne Aussicht in Sora for two birthdays, unfortunately I have to honestly say that the view was the only highlight. The waiter was extremely unfriendly last time, just as he was this time. The coffees came in stages, and not in a period of ten minutes, the food also came in stages and staggered, which is ok because a waiter can only carry three plates, but there wasn't just one server in the house. The whole time you had the feeling that you were welcome to leave the house straight away, you didn't get any cards to order drinks, later two tickets for 10 people came for the food, but we had to decide very quickly what we were going to eat at eight the house closes, the waiter already had this fear that the house wouldn't close on time at 3:30 p.m. when we dared to enter the house. The vegetarian selection wasn't particularly good or large, but the chef did a good job and the food was good.Small mistakes, such as having to blame colleagues because the cake was out or the cutlery being missing from the table when eating, were also noticeable. We then asked for a candle for decoration, and a tea light was brought to us with the “friendly” comment, man Would you have to make room because there are too many telephones on the table, space for a tea light? They created the space for him but it was already laughable.The house has a lot of potential, but you still get the feeling that the guests are unimportant and the income is also unimportant.I come from the catering industry myself and I know what kind of pressure there is and how stressful some days can be, but you have to have the professionalism not to pass that on to the guest. A little more friendliness and an open approach to the guest would be desirable. “When you smile at life, it smiles back” is a sentence of truth in dealing with guests.

Went for lunch. Get space easily. Great, friendly service with a reasonable waiting time. Good food, portion could have been larger - starter as well as main course. Prices are OK, by no means excessive like in the city of Bautzen.

A pretty place, but a bit difficult to find. You have to drive towards Sora. There is a small parking lot near the building with a sign pointing to the Pumphutsteig. From the rural building you have a pretty view of the green valley. Lunch, in this case a game dish, unfortunately tasted a bit like a finished product (red cabbage and sauce), apart from the meat (you have to ask what was available). Maybe something could be improved (positive criticism). The service was nice and things went pretty quickly. A small outdoor terrace on the side of the building invites you to linger. All in all, it's worth a detour, just because of the idyllic location of the building.

We have been guests at the "Schöne Aussicht" several times in recent years and have always been very satisfied.Unfortunately we can't say that about our visit today. The garlic soup was just warm water. There was no response from the kitchen to our complaint. The main course came after 75 minutes.Our two children weren't satisfied with each portion of spaghetti, so we ordered another portion. Here pasta was only added once more, without sauce or side dish, but the full price was still charged. Unfortunately the steak wasn't medium rare as ordered. Only the Rostbrätel was as we knew it from the past.In short, a disappointment. We embarrassed ourselves in front of our guests.We hope that this criticism will be an incentive for the team to get back to their old strength.

Despite Easter Monday and 12 p.m., there was a spot available for us. The food was really tasty and sufficient. The staff seemed friendly and not stressed at all.Highly recommended as a rest after a hike in the beautiful surroundings.Check beforehand for opening times.

I feel compelled to write a review. After lunch, we wanted to explore the area a little more and happened to end up in the Bergade restaurant around 1:30 p.m. and decided to have another coffee. The staff was unfriendly because lunch business was still going on. You have to ask first if this is possible. After a while she came back, surprised us and asked directly what we would like to order. Until then it wasn't clear to us whether we would even get coffee. We asked what kind of cake there was. We were quickly told 2 types. We refused. We had lost our appetite. We felt completely out of place. If she had told us that there was no coffee at that time, that would have been fine too. The coffee for 6 people came three times, was partly lukewarm and the last coffee for my 84 year old mother came 10 minutes after everyone else had already had their coffee. The suction didn't seem to be working either. There was a strong smell of frying oil in the dining room. A pity.....Sorry that the 6 of us spontaneously decided to go to the Schöne Aussicht restaurant on Sunday and ask for coffee and cake at 1:30 p.m. It will never happen again. That was the first and last time for us. In principle, we have a lot of understanding for the tense personnel situation that is present everywhere, as we ourselves, as a service provider with 13 employees, know how difficult the situation is. Nevertheless, it does not justify the unfriendly tone.
