We stayed in the “Am Backhäusl” apartment for 10 days. This is very tastefully decorated and fully equipped. There is a locked garage for bicycles. Many destinations can be easily reached by bike.We received a very warm welcome from the Maier family and can definitely recommend a stay “at the blacksmith’s”.

Very cozy and very well-equipped apartment in a quiet, idyllic location. We felt comfortable from the first moment and nothing was missing. If something wasn't there, help was given immediately. We were very kindly provided with fresh eggs and delicious cake.The numerous tips and information that the Maier family gave us were also very helpful.Many places in the area can be reached in a short time from the holiday apartment. The location is also a good starting point for cycling tours.All in all, we were able to relax very well during our stay and switch off from everyday life. We'd love to come back!

We spent two very nice, sunny August weeks in the “Apartment am Weiher” holiday apartment. Ms. Maier is a considerate, helpful and always friendly host who even greeted us with freshly baked cake when we arrived! The apartment is well equipped, very clean and stylishly furnished. We'd love to come back!

We had a very nice time in the Backhäusl. We found chilled drinks and Ms. Meyer gave us cake she had baked herself.It was like arriving home. Everything was very clean and comfortably furnished. We were able to store our bikes in the garage. The area offers many leisure activities.From visiting the monasteries with boat trips there, wonderful walks, bike rides around the farm and Lake Chiemsee. Climbing the mountains, swimming in the rivers, visiting breweries and much more. Simply beautiful.Particularly noteworthy are the many cafes and restaurants along the cycle routes.The eggs from Ms. Meyer's chickens are amazing!There are numerous options for self-sufficiency all around, from farm shops to supermarkets in the neighboring town.My husband and I would like to thank the Meyer family for the wonderful time we had in the Backhäuslthank you. We'll definitely come back.

We stayed here for 10 nights and really enjoyed it, friendly welcome and very friendly landlord. The apartment is furnished in a comfortable, modern style, high praise and it is definitely worth another vacation here. Thank you very much, and all the best for the future and always a full house!

Hello, we come from Hamburg and spent ten days here in late summer. The two apartments are absolutely great. Nothing is missing. And the landlady is extremely helpful and pleasant. It's worth it!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. Nicely furnished and very good facilities. The location is good for reaching Chiemsee, Baumburg monastery/brewery and many of the riches of this area by bike.

The apartment is highly recommended. We had the “little one” at the Backhäusl and it was very difficult for us to pack up and drive home. Unwind, sleep peacefully in good beds, enjoy a good coffee... plus Christine's home-baked cake! Just beautiful. There is also air for the bikes - from the workshop if needed. The location is ideal, one side down the hill you're at the Alz (or in there to cool off and swim), the other side down the hill you're at Lake Chiemsee. You can also start other cycling tours into the beautiful hinterland from the accommodation. The location, furnishings of the apartment combined with warmth and charm are really what everyone else rates.

We and our children felt very comfortable in the “Appartement am Weiher” holiday apartment. The apartment is very tastefully and modernly furnished, and host Christine is also very nice and accommodating. The range of toys inside the apartment as well as in the “construction trailer” was very much appreciated and actively used by our children 😉All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and will come back.
