Perfect accomodation when you are with a big group. Professional kitchen, hottube and playground. House is in very good state. We went here for a family weekend and really enjoyed it. Would for sure recommend it. Is also come with a small but were you can make a campfire for when it is cold.

Nice, quiet place with very good facilities. The ‘game hall’ echos a lot, any form of sound dampening (carpet, curtains, anything) would be the first and only thing I’d change. It very easily gets very loud in there.

Awesome decor, beautiful nature close by. The only grip I have is the lack of cleaning supplies from soaps in the bathrooms to the detergent for the dishwasher.

Good place, fun playgrounds, and clean houses. I do have to earn you: it does not come with sheets or pillowcases for your bed.

The carpets and rooms on the 2nd floor of Vuursteen could use some renovating and deep cleaning

We stayed at Het Landhuis with a group of 20 friends. We were initially hesitant given the strict rules on the website and in the reviews. But the owners are super friendly and sweet! If you just behave normally and don't cause any unrest/noise, they will be very lenient.During our stay it was 23-30 degrees, but the house remained nice and cool. The houses are also surprisingly well insulated in terms of sound. We sang karaoke 2 evenings until late in the evening and each time went outside to check that we were not causing any noise pollution. But you only hear something when you are standing right next to the door of the house. Very impressive.Pros:- Very friendly owners- Beautiful and quiet environment- Entertainment room + outdoor play options (e.g. go-karts, large air cushion, etc.) + volleyball net- Beautifully decorated + spacious house- Good sound insulating house- Almost every room has its own bathroom, luxury!- No bunk beds, but all single box beds- Utility room where you can do extra dishes and with a washing machine and dryer (+ two drying racks)- Well-stocked kitchen in terms of materials, including oven dishes, enough plates/cups, coffee machine with a keep-warm function, two dishwashers, large freezer + refrigerator- Large backyard- Lovely wooden hot tub + handy side table for drinksNegatives:- There was water under the trampoline, so we couldn't jump on it without getting wet feet.- There were a lot of mosquitoes and wasps, but I don't think this is really something the owners can do anything about. It depends more on the time of year. Very possibly it was due to the water under the trampoline, perhaps something that the owners could look at. So don't forget to bring DEET/afterbite and keep the curtains in front of the open doors.- No BBQ- A bit noisy room, but I was on the ground floor next to the living room. I heard that they were also planning to build a bar in the basement so there would be less inconvenience (maybe they can add a karaoke set there too ;).)- No oven mitts.Tips:- I hear in other reviews that heating the hot tub takes a very long time. For us, it took an abnormally long time on our first two days. The owners helped us here. This was probably because the wood was not completely dry. It was fine with new wood. If you add enough wood, it will be warm within 2 hours :) You can regulate the temperature by using oxygen, but it is indeed difficult. Conclusion: We had a very nice and enjoyable week :)

Nice location with a large garden. Enough wood available to use the hot tub daily. Nice owners! Wonderfully quiet, not bothered by the houses around. Large refrigerators where you can store a lot of groceries.
