We are two solo travellers on business, staying two nights. The roads to the town are closed so it took an extra 40 Kms to get around to the hotel! No your GPS nor google maps can know this. …

Very nice service.The food is very tasty and also inexpensive.As the only guest, I was surprised at how good the breakfast was.No buffet. But there was a choice of boiled eggs or freshly prepared scrambled eggs.Room and shower clean and well maintained.I would recommend it.

Terrible parking, service completely out of place. Room very tiny with no fridge, no water kettle. No storage place for shoes. I am traveling with my colleagues in Germany and I can say that it is the worst hotel I have ever visited, three in a tiny room for a terrible price 😡 we have to suffer here for 5 days. I can throw away the food I brought because the staff is absolutely unwilling to do anything about it 😡 I will never come to this hotel again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first impression was immediately made by the reception. There was a boy sitting there alone who didn't speak German and we had to wait for a woman. Linguistically it was better. The documents that had to be filled out were not explained or could not be explained. There was already a strange smell that we initially thought was coming from the toilets. When we got to our rooms later the smell only got worse. Unbearable in the hallway. Even a small air freshener couldn't help. Room itself ok for the price. Could have been cleaner. We had an elderly lady with us who had to hold the toilet door open in order to have some light at night because the night light was broken. The mattresses and bed seemed very old. The mattresses were very, very soft. It would have been ok for one night if it hadn't smelled so badly like a sewage treatment plant everywhere.

We stayed overnight at the Thüringer Hof from Saturday to Sunday as part of a family celebration with 11 people. We were pleasantly surprised. We found relatively large and clean rooms, whose beds were very comfortable to sleep in. There was nothing to complain about. The friendliness of the staff is also worth mentioning. The breakfast was very extensive and tasty. We are very happy to recommend the hotel.

Rooms are super old. Shower terribly old, you don't dare go in. Location on a small street. We had the room where the terrace was right below us. It smelled like smoke! I am a non-smoker. Never again for this price. I cannot recommend this. You could do more with it. Ziegenrūck lies in the middle of the funnel. You can only get out of there uphill!
