Nice quaint inn. Since 1806. Were there on a Friday evening. Food and service were very good. We can't rate the room because it wasn't used. Not far away is the Hohenwarte reservoir. Nice environment.Hope it still exists. Here too you notice that the staff is scarce.

Price-performance is absolutely fair, the beds are very good, the rooms are very clean. Classic Thuringia, I was very enthusiastic about the Soljanka.

We were super satisfied. The communication was great. Since we arrived late and had to leave very early, the hotel really tried hard to find a solution. Rarely have we experienced such great commitment from a hotel. Everything worked out perfectly. A great solution was even found for breakfast and coffee. Since we were already gone at regular times. There are parking spaces, the rooms are very clean. Hotel clean. And very nice. There were several of us and we would stay at this hotel again and again. The rooms only have one star less because there are of course still better rooms in other hotels. But it was great and clean.

We had a very good, traditional meal here. The food was tasty and the portions were large enough.The service was friendly and professional. Food and drinks were delivered quickly.Our dog was allowed to lie at the table.Sufficient parking spaces behind the house.

We were guests over the last weekend and were more than satisfied. The host was courteous and delicious, home-style cooking! Where else can you get homemade dumplings in Thuringia? What more could you want? The area is ideal for hiking at the dam. Hiking bus stop almost in front of the door. Simply perfect.

We had a nice, spacious double room...everything was clean and the breakfast was perfect for us...fresh rolls, sausage and cheese platter, scrambled eggs and yoghurt upon request...If you expect a breakfast buffet, this is not the right place. Always friendly service.

So far okay. Very friendly hospitality, rooms well furnished according to the price, plentiful breakfast. However, the beef steak was a big disappointment (17 euros, thin, streaky, well-done, even though it was ordered in English)! I couldn't and didn't want to eat it. The other dishes were good.

The food is really very good, especially fry, sauce and dumplings (homemade). The portions are ok. But the schnitzel (also very tasty) was unfortunately too small.The quality of the food is good, but a few pfennigs too expensive for the size of the portions and the region. Ambience is quaint. Service is quick, competent and very nice. Still, always happy. Thanks and best regards

Rooms are cozy, clean and functionally furnished. The hotel is located on a town thoroughfare, but there isn't much traffic. Perfect location for excursions, the Hohenwarte reservoir is nearby.The breakfast was perfect, and the dishes on the menu were also a delight.
