Top location! Very nice and friendly staff!Room cleaning consists of making the bed and changing towels.Breakfast is boring. I don't have less at home either.All in all, the price-performance ratio is unfortunately not right.

Very friendly staff, the rooms are clean, the bathroom is large. I would have expected more from breakfast, but ok.

The hotel is in a good location, but unfortunately there are only two parking spaces and the nearest parking lot costs €12 daily.The rooms are fine as long as you remove the cobwebs from the ceiling and remove strange stains from the wall with a new coat of paint. The existing television could not be used because it was on the bedside table and therefore with the screen facing the wrong way.Overall, the rooms are very unfriendly for allergy sufferers as the carpet and curtains are obviously not cleaned thoroughly on a regular basis.There was a very unpleasant smell in the bathroom due to the additional drain next to the toilet and it was almost unbearable for a while. The joints in the shower walls had black spots, which certainly made showering feel more pleasant than next to these walls.The breakfast was very rich and more than satisfactory.The absolute opposite of the reception and breakfast lady from the first two days (very friendly and accommodating) was mirrored, much to my regret, by the breakfast lady from the second day. Instead of a good morning, you received a “Stop, your room number” shouted in a more than unfriendly tone. Another guest was sprinted through the breakfast room to find out the room number.In addition to the already unfriendly greeting at breakfast, the lady didn't miss the opportunity to clear the table we had already chosen and where we had already sat down. The reason should be guests who had already sat there the previous day and would probably want to sit there again. In our opinion, it's pure impudence. First of all, we also had breakfast at this place the previous day, so the justification that other people had sat there is invalid. On the other hand, we chose this place so that we could sit as far away as possible from guests who brought a dog into the breakfast room, as they are allergic to dog hair. Now we were supposed to sit right next to the guests with the dog, in the middle of the passage, and the cleared table remained free or unoccupied the entire time.If you encounter such unfriendly and incompetent staff in the morning, you are already more than served for the day.

On the last evening of our stay we wanted to give the small hotel restaurant a chance. and were surprised. You can expect really good, honest BUT simple home cooking in the Restaurant zur Post. not a tourist trap! The food here is much better than the food you get in the restaurants in the old town. These “top” rated tourist traps were all culinary horror.However, food in the Restaurant zur Post is only available with advance notice and as a 3 or 4 course menu, as the chef is personally in the kitchen at the moment...The hotel itself and its rooms are of a good and well-maintained standard.
