I rarely write an excellent review; have upgraded myself this time from very good, despite a few minor issues. They were; leaky washbasin plug, no shower mat (slippery floor but supplied upon request) , flimsy towels. …

Beautiful rustic rooms and wonderful service at the reception and restaurant, but the quality of the food (breakfast and buffet dinner) was really subpar: little selection, poor quality, too expensive.

Hotel Deutschherrenhof is a wonderful hotel, just a few steps away from the Mosel river. We stayed here for a few days and loved every minute of it.The staff is very welcoming. The room was spacious and had everything you need. Although it's an old building, the soundproofing of the room was amazing. You couldn't hear anything.Breakfast was plentyful and everything is fresh. Coffee is served at the table. The hotel has no parking of it's own, but there is plenty parking in the surrounding area.We would love to come and stay again.

Stayed a few times in this hotel. Every time it was good.Parking can be something difficult, because it’s full with other cars from other hotels. They have a small own parking approximately 50 meters from the hotel, depends on how others park how many places they have.Service I experienced was good, at that moment my nice forgot her laptop. They send I without extra charge to the States. We enjoyed the place several times and recommend it to others.

Very friendly staff, great food, clean room and comfortable beds. However this hotel is not suitable for people with animal hair allergies or asthma. Dogs are allowed in the dining room and near the buffet. The staff is touching the dogs and goes on servicing plates and cutlery without washing hands.

Great place for older people, it's quiet, plenty of parking, nice/helpful staff, Beautiful rooms, great running area, so many sites to see and the dam is huge, sometimes floods but still is worth every bit of visiting and its inexpensive with great breakfast. Get a massage!!!
