In our opinion one of the best campsite in the area due to the beatiful views, the peace and quite!! (many campsites in this area are next to the Nectar but thereby also next to a busy road) and the swimming pool. The toilets and showers are basic but are fine. There are washing machines and even an indoor gas stove (useful if it rains and you cant cook in your tent). The tent pitch is next to the pool which is quite convenient. There is a slope on the pitch, but as long as you don't have a massive tent and sleep with your feet facing the bottomside of the slope this forms no problem. We also loved the stream that passes through the campsite and the sound that it gives. Perfect campsite for people who like peace and quite and real camping. Plenty of activities to do in the area.

Do not! book rental caravan (mietcaravan). The lack of pictures on the website should have been a warning. The were promised to be old but maintained. Not true! Only one light worked. Everything was taped. Only 2 windows could open. The facilities inside the caravan did not work. We have rented different level accomodation for many years but this is the bottom of the barrel! Should be torn down immediately! Such a shame because the location is beautiful. No service level though. Bathrooms were cleaned once in five days. Nothing to eat, not even an icecream for the kids. This all would have been fine for us, if the caravan would have just been from this century.

This was the first weekend campsites could open to tourists who had own sanitary facilities (May 16) so we spontaneously decided to rent an RV to just get out of the house and surround ourselves in a different setting than our house. Many campsites were full but this one had availability. We were a bit skeptical because of the reviews. To our surprise, we loved this campground. We got a spot next to a stream and were surrounded by trees and hills. It felt like we were transported to another country and not just 1 hour from home. I cannot comment on any of the public facilities because they were closed. The restaurant was open but we were not ready to fully enter public life after months of lockdown so we cooked all of our meals. There is a very nice playground for kids as well as a trampoline and mini-golf. There was also a swimming pool up the hill but we were not sure if this was part of the camping property or a public facility (closed). We would definitely go ahead and even bring friends next time. Don’t let the reviews hold you back from this beautiful campground!

Stayed at this campsite for the middle of our tour. Again many taken up by permanent German caravans, some rather old! …

This is a camping park not a hotel so hard to review against the questions asked. We enjoyed our stay. The facilities were clean and the pool was lovely.

Wonderful camping site, nicely seated in a tiny valley with a small creek surrounded by forests. You can go for a hike in the forest directly from the site. The creek is cold, but nice for children to play (about 5+ years). In short, great site surrounded by beautiful nature.

The camping site is located in a small valley in between big hills and forests. A small creek flows along the camping and you can cross it from the little bridges. There is a swimming pool which is ideal for some action and a luxury comparing to what you pay. A cosy restaurant provides traditional dishes for low prices.Just in the end of the road you can reach the river Neckar where boat trips are organized. In 25min by car you can visit Heidelberg that is one of the most beautiful towns I've seen. Lots of tourists, festivals and parties are going on there. Great view from the big bridge and amazing food and drinks. I recommend this camping to anyone that wants to have a peaceful stay in the nature but also some interesting things to do close by.
