Starting with the positives; we had a very spacious 3 bed apartment with separate WC, Bath, en suite shower in two of the 3 bedrooms together with a kitchen/dinging room and a lounge. …

We were there in May last year, actually as guests for a long weekend…We left there after less than an hour! The reason was the two very unfriendly hostesses! We chose the guesthouse because it is right next to the bike park and we came with a dog.1. When checking in, the older lady wanted to collect the money straight away and only in cash, even though it had previously been said that you could also pay by card. We didn't do it because we didn't have that much cash with us, but she insisted that we pay in cash later...2. very unfriendly and rough tone from both ladies in the house3. After moving into the room, my husband and I wanted to take our bikes to the bike park to see whether it would be worth riding that day. When we were unloading the bikes, the older lady asked us to do it take the dog! We then tried to explain to her that a dog has no place in the bike park. She insisted that we take the dog with us so that it wouldn't disturb the other guests! (we were the only guests there and I know why :-D)After she became more and more unfriendly and the second lady also intervened that you couldn't leave a dog in the room (I had asked before booking whether we could travel with a dog) we decided to pack our things and leave!Luckily I hadn't paid the money to the ladies yet! What else can you say, we travel a lot and with dogs and bikes but we've never experienced anything like that :-DThe guesthouse would actually be ideal for all bike park visitors, but with such unfriendly hosts, it is not recommended!!

Funny, this isn't even a guesthouse anymore. Apartments are rented there. Some of the apartments are probably not in a finished condition. I'll find out what's going on there.

To mention the positive things first, the hotel was in a very nice environment and all kinds of leisure activities are possible nearby. Now to the not so great things, price/performance is disproportionate to what you get. A 15€ breakfast where there is only either coffee, cocoa or tea. Not 2, not 3, no, just one. There were lots of expired foods there. Nutella from 2021, butter from 2022 etc.The interior is more reminiscent of a hotel from 1932. But you're only there to sleep. The advertisement states that each single room has its own toilet and shower. Unfortunately we had to miss that too, as the room had a shower and sink, but there was no toilet. Shared toilets were then available in the hallway. In itself it's not an issue if you don't pay for toilets etc.The neighbor's dog is a requirement of every person. Barks like there is no tomorrow and exactly the same thing the next day.In addition, you were not allowed to take your keys with you, which is very suspicious to me. It should also be added that the rooms did not have a safe, which forced me to be constantly restless and take my valuables with me.The owner of the house is extremely friendly, but very pushy and you feel less like a guesthouse and more as if I were one of the lady's private guests. It's all well and good to have a conversation, but you'll be talked to at every opportunity. The guesthouse is also listed as a cooperation partner of the bike park, which is in the immediate vicinity. However, it would be nice if bicycle parking spaces were provided to also have the option of securely locking up the bikes. We were told to lock them together in the front yard. No security options except for your own bikes. The only fixed way to connect was forbidden. My conclusion, a beautiful location and good restaurants and leisure activities in the immediate vicinity. Service, rooms, breakfast and therefore the price/performance ratio all leave a lot to be desired. I'll definitely be drawn to the region again, but to another guesthouse or to one of the numerous campsites nearby.

It was a clean room. Very friendly staff and a very quiet location. Unfortunately I had a peripheral room where the WiFi wasn't very good and it was quite cold when I arrived. However, thanks to the electronic heating, it warmed up relatively quickly. The bed was very comfortable.

A very nice older lady runs the guesthouse. The house is in a very idyllic location somewhere in the middle of nowhere. The house is very old and the furnishings can almost be called antique, but everything is very well maintained and clean. We stayed there for an overnight stay as a couple on our two-day Odenwald tour by motorbike. We liked it. 👍

This accommodation is linked on the homepage of the Bikepark (BP) Beerfelden, is a few hundred meters from the lift, offers special BP arrangements and seemed very suitable for a weekend overnight stay to us. …

Booking was canceled even though there was a legally valid booking confirmation. People stand in the way and now I've been ignored for some time. Absolutely dubious! Not recommended!

For nostalgics - the furnishings date back to the 1960s, but are well-kept and clean. The guesthouse has its own charm and flair. You shouldn't expect great luxury here, but it's enough for e.g. to spend a pleasant, quiet night here.
