Germany as in my memories! We come from France. We had a wonderful stay in Breitnau in April 2024. The village, the landscape, the area...everything is very beautiful. The holiday apartment (Im Häusle) is very comfortable, large and clean. Ms. Saier gave us a very friendly welcome and is always available if you need anything. We recommend the Vogtsjockelshof without hesitation.

I stayed in the “Unteres Schanzenhäusle” holiday home with my family for a week and we felt very comfortable. The house is very spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. It has a beautiful terrace with a view of the Feldberg and an infrared cabin for relaxation. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a bread roll service. The house is very clean and well maintained. The hosts are very warm and helpful, they gave us lots of tips for hikes and excursions. We were also allowed to visit their farm and pet the animals. The children were thrilled with the cows, goats, rabbits, chickens and cats. The farm is quietly located on the outskirts of Breitnau, but you can quickly get to Hinterzarten or Titisee. The area is beautiful and offers many opportunities for outdoor activities. We can only recommend the Vogtsjockelshof, it was a great holiday on the farm in the Black Forest.

Unfortunately we didn't have such a good experience on our vacation. The holiday apartment is very modern and very clean, which is really not a given and deserves 5*. Unfortunately, there is a privately used condominium above it and the impact sound insulation is anything but good. This meant that recovery was only possible to a limited extent as we were often awake early. What also caused annoyance was that the landlord doesn't like it when you and your child go to the meadow behind the house to fly a kite. This does not damage the vegetation in any way and more consideration should be given to those seeking relaxation and paying guests. We have never encountered anything like this in all of our vacations and it doesn't speak for hospitality.

We only stayed 2 nights. It was super nice. Were warmly welcomed and well provided with breakfast service. Everything you needed was there. We felt very comfortable.

We can only recommend the Vogtsjockelshof. Very nice, clean apartment with a wonderful view of the Feldberg. Our children were allowed to go into the stable at any time and in the evenings they went to the milking, where they were also allowed to help actively. Our children also found a new friend. Namely the 14 day old goat Anton.On the farm there is delicious fresh milk and eggs from really happy chickens who are in the green every day. The forest honey is also absolutely great. Many thanks again to the Saier family for their hospitality. We'll be back.

We love coming to the Schanzenhäusel, it's like a second home for us. The Saier family are very nice and always helpful hosts.
