Beautiful environment for hiking and cycling with children. A visit to the swimming pool is also worth it. Great sports facilities right next to the youth hostel. You can easily walk from the youth hostel to the small but beautiful old town. Nice staff in the youth hostel, sufficiently large breakfast buffet with a large selection of warm drinks. Large family room with a somewhat outdated bathroom with shower and toilet, but clean and completely sufficient. We had a lovely time! Thank you!

Youth hostel of the seventies.room old; That would be okay, but unfortunately not particularly clean either. Service non-existent, not friendly, no information given at check-in. Things are completely different in other youth hostels. The food was sad. No eggs for breakfast even on Sunday. Even the price is not attractive.Only the location was good.

Some rooms could be cleaner. Until now we have almost always found items in the room that didn't belong to us. But basically I'm pretty happy with the youth hostel. The best option in Eschwege via OpenFlair. The location is fantastic. The staff is mostly very friendly and tries to make a lot possible. Also for special requests.

We had a very successful school trip and our students felt very comfortable in the beautiful and spacious rooms. They even wanted to take the kitchen team with them and let them cook in our school cafeteria. Many thanks for the great week and the diverse support to the entire team at Eschwege Youth Hostel.

Typical youth hostel in a central location with very nice and helpful staff. Rooms are still a bit old school, but you actually just want to sleep there.

Wow, what a great vacation. The youth hostel in Eschwege was simply great! Brilliant rooms (with a gallery), warm service, incredibly beautiful location. Many thanks to the entire team! We also recommend stopping by Jürgen at the nearby mini golf course. We would love to come back and can recommend this youth hostel 100%.

My daughter was with you some time ago with two friends. To this day, the three of them rave so much about their trip that I'm happy to pass on this positive experience! The care was great, the room was a perfect fit and the young people really enjoyed their time in Eschwege! Thanks so much!!! A great introduction to the time of “traveling without parents”!

One of the best youth hostels we have ever stayed in!Friendly staff and somehow a good vibe in the house. The rooms with a gallery are really great, but I would only recommend them to a limited extent for families with small children because of the risk of falling (very steep stairs).I was visiting with my mother and son because the youth hostel was recommended to us by another youth hostel because of the selection of board games. There are quite a few games compared to other hostels, but a complete list of the available games would have been great, as in our time there was never anyone there who had any idea about the games and/or really knew how to rent them out.We thought it was great that the reception wasn't always actively staffed, but you could reach someone by phone almost at any time and they would come quickly. We also thought it was great to be able to get snacks and alcohol late in the evening or at night completely independently (billed by entering the list). Allergies and intolerances were taken into account without any problems after prior notice and the food was delicious and everyone was able to find something they liked. The large outdoor area with climbing equipment and a duck pond just a few meters away is also really nice. When we were there there was a big city festival, which we were kindly informed about when we arrived.Thank you very much for the nice stay!
