Cheap, quiet hotel, normal breakfast, free parking, simple facilities, clean and great view over the Moselle, small bathroom, comfortable hotel beds, sometimes 1.60 wide. Great service, bikes can be easily stored. Simple and good.

I had a voucher for 2 nights through Animod for around 130 euros including wine tasting and welcome drink. We had a nice room number 12 with a balcony and a view of the Moselle. Everything was very clean and the beds were very good. The bathroom is tiny, but since it's an old house, that's just how it is. The young woman at the reception, probably the daughter, was very nice and tried hard. However, our Cologne friends had been given the room opposite for 1 night, which was small and the beds were apart. Here too a very small bathroom. Paying 110 euros for this doesn't do it justice by any stretch of the imagination. Breakfast was okay, everything was there, although our friend had a slice of bread that was moldy. This shouldn't happen even in a 3 star hotel and then there's no one you can turn to who speaks German! A no go! Our other friend also had a room with a view of the Moselle and a shared balcony and raved about her box spring bed. All in all it was okay for us for 130 euros and 2 nights. Our Cologne friends who were in No. 11 found the hotel to be a “caschemme”, everyone sees it differently. Our room was newly renovated and we had a separate balcony, which was nice, but unfortunately it was too cold to sit outside last weekend. Wintrich is a small town and the restaurants and the hotel bar close by 10 a.m. at the latest. I didn't find it tragic; our friend from Cologne was horrified. But it's probably no longer worth it at this time of year to be open for a few people. There is a large garage opposite where you could park and charge e-scooters and bikes on the ground floor, which was very good. Here too, the young receptionist was very helpful. The wine tasting at the winemaker was very extensive, he offered 14 wines for tasting and was free for our friends. He brought the wines we ordered to the hotel the next morning. His wine bar could use some tidying up, it wasn't that comfortable, probably because it's an all-male household. But that's just a guess! The hotel menu was nothing special, the usual stuff you get everywhere, schnitzel etc. There's a really good restaurant in Wintrich, the "Brühler Hof".

I'm really amazed at the amount of positive reviews that we can't agree with. The double room we had booked was not available on the day of arrival and so we were put in temporary storage for the first night, i.e. we were given a 1-bed room (No. 17) on the upper floor. Two pillows with different covers, a duvet hidden under the throw , which was probably already used after folding it, and after several requests for a second blanket with a pillow, no one could move during the night, because then the one would have rolled into the middle of the sagging bed and squeezed the other one. The door would just stay closed , when it was closed. The next day we got a better room, which was not cleaned in the remaining days. The breakfast was okay, if you ignore the large mold stain on a piece of bread. I preferred to go back to it The kitchen was brought because a number of guests came after us and you don't have to blame anyone. The bottom line is that it was our first and last stay in this hotel. So keep your eyes open when choosing a hotel!

We didn't find the rooms too small nor the shower too high and there was really nothing wrong with the breakfast. The team was great and also fulfilled special requests. The house lives up to its name. We'd love to come back.

Ok hotel and restaurant. But the wine list was disappointing. Missing fridge in the room, but very good bed and nicely newly renovated. Shared balcony with the neighbour, but nice view from the upper room towards the valley.

We stayed at the Hotel “Moselblick” in Wintrich for 3 days with an Animod voucher. This voucher also included a free wine tasting at the winery, which we also took part in. This took place at the Reuter Erben winery in Wintrich in a very dark and simple room. First we received a lecture from the winemaker in front of the house about the damage caused by nature this year and about our current politicians. Afterwards we went to the wine tasting in the dark room where we were able to try different wines and also brandy. There was mineral water to neutralize and then you could order. We ordered 6 bottles of the wine we liked best and 2 bottles of spent grain brandy after the winemaker promised to deliver the order to the hotel 2 days later at 9:00 a.m. Since the delivery day was on our departure day and the winemaker was still not at the hotel at 9:25 a.m., we left without the wine and brandy we ordered. After 3 hours I received a call on my cell phone from Mr. Reuter (but I had not previously sent my hand number to Mr. Reuter) and he said that he would send the ordered goods to my home via DHL. I told him that I wanted to skip the delivery and he then harassed me about 16 times by calling and texting. Mr. Reuter only said that he depends on the hotel guests from Moselblick with his winery. After a week I received the delivery with the invoice via DHL and to finally have peace of mind I transferred the invoice.I can only recommend every visitor to the Hotel Moselblick to forego the free wine tasting offered. There are other opportunities to try Moselle wine throughout the town.
