Had the Surprise, Surprise yesterday! Menu (delicacy weeks), there were four of us and everyone was absolutely full, we really enjoyed it, great idea, great value for money :) thanks for the great evening!

Today we ate braised ox cheeks with dumplings, red cabbage and sauce. This was by far the tastiest dish I've had on my plate in a long time! The meat is perfectly braised and buttery tender and the sauce is great! The taste and texture, so creamy and rich - a dream! Nice location and good service!We will be happy to come back🫶🏼

Very nice hosts, restaurant has charm and character, very clean.Service is excellent, the food is all freshly prepared and very tasty. Portions absolutely sufficient, short waiting time.On the menu you will find baked goods and braised ox cheeks, alongside the usual roast dishes from the region.There is also currywurst with fries and city sausage with music.There's definitely something for everyone, and of course there's also vegetarian options.We definitely weren't there for the last time.thank you for the hospitalityMichael Friedrich

We were there for dinner today. As soon as we sat down, the service came and took drinks. We were well advised while eating. This came very quickly and was very tasty. Everything fresh and very tasty. The service was present but not intrusive. We also had a little chat. We really liked it and it tasted really good too. The beer garden was cozy and clean.

We drove past by chance and stopped in - sat outside. Food was delicious with a fair price-performance ratio. Nice and courteous service; gladly again. Had the fried chicken and the sauerbraten.
