Spacious, clean, well-equipped apartment in a beautifully refurbished farm. Very welcoming atmosphere. Luxurious sauna in the garden. In the apartment, really nice beds and duvets/cushions, spacious baths. Gut Royum well located for trips (hiking, cycling) along the Schlei and the Baltic Sea. Close to Schleswig. Warmly recommended.

We had a superb 2-night weekend stay with this family run hotel and warmly recommend it. The place is perfect for everyone who seeks a nature and rural escape. We had an entire day around the villages and lake with bikes, provided curtesy of them. The 3-building site is all beautifully renovated by the owners, who are so nice and kind! The breakfast was really good and there's also a fridge in the room.

Excellent place to stay with kids or just to relax for a couple of days. Welcoming hosts and great room. But best part is the nice outdoor area with lots of animals, space to relax and toys for the kids to play with. Highy recommended

We found the welcoming a bit unfriendly. In detail:1) we arrived at about 11:00am. It was raining a lot. As a first thing I'm pointed out by an upset young woman that check-in should have been from 4:00pm. Then as a favour I'm allowed to do the check-in sooner2) the day after my wife asks if we could use the wasching maschine. answer is yes. then when she start doing the wasching she is being told "ah ... but the detergent you are supposed to use yours". Do they think one is travelling (not camoing) with detergent?3) breakfast was basic. ok for the covid-19, but 1 single-dose chocolate and two of marmelade for two person it does not sound to me abundant4) we do not know if there are other facilities. we saw bycicles, but nobody told us if they were for private use only or if available to guests. we did not ask to avoid another bitter answer

We used this idyllic place for the second time as a stopover and start to our onward journey to Denmark and Sweden. This is a wonderful place to switch off and recharge your batteries. This time we had straw storage in the apartment. It is very spacious and very well equipped. It's great to sleep in the beds. The farm offers plenty of space for children to play, even in bad weather thanks to the play barn. We can highly recommend Gut Royum, especially for families with children.

We spent 5 wonderfully comfortable days in Gut Royum with excursions from Schleswig to Kappeln. The Rosenholz holiday apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. We didn't miss anything. Everything is very clean and homely. The whole property has been prepared with a lot of love and effort and exudes a lot of hospitality. We would be happy to come back and definitely recommend Gut Royum.

A wonderful place for children and adults to simply switch off. The apartment was very spacious and super clean. The breakfast is regional and also very tasty. There are great opportunities for children and adults to keep themselves busy on the farm. From a trampoline to animals and a sauna, everything is there for a perfect holiday.
