We have been guests at the hotel several times and everything was fine. The last time we went for lunch was in midsummer and sat outside, where the ambience is also beautiful. Unfortunately you can't sit on wooden chairs for long and even if you're not lucky enough to sit under the trees, the parasols weren't suitable for sun protection. The food was good according to the prices, unfortunately the white wine was not chilled. All in all, we would come back again.

Unfortunately, we also had the same experience as many other guests; a lot of it was positive, but the way the owner treated his guests was anything but hospitable. …

Idyllic pearl in the forest. We've driven past it many times and now we managed to visit on a rainy Sunday. We only visited the restaurant and can't say anything about the rooms except that there are four. But the guest area is beautifully decorated. A real attention to detail. Everything has a kind of country house style in lilac, including the pillows, napkins and lamps. There is also a fireplace. I was thrilled that there was a really massive changing table. Also a children's chair and children's card with colored pencils for coloring. The dishes had something for everyone. However, I would have hoped for more in terms of taste. The meat was not medium rare. But an offer was made to redo it. The salmon tartare also looked great, but something was missing, a little more flavor. Just like with the greeting from the house. It's really nice when something like this is offered. But then I hope to try something out of the ordinary (beetroot-horseradish foam; tomato with lime cream, etc.)The service was very friendly and attentive. It's definitely worth a visit. Since you can argue about taste, there is no deduction from the stars.

Nice hotel but unfortunately an incredibly unfriendly and bad host (boss)... If you read the negative reviews, this impression unfortunately outweighs... That was our first and last visit!

Friendly, stylish service. Prices are high, it is not a hiking restaurant for the small budget.Food is very tasty and prepared with care. The vegetarian strudel with carrot and potato filling was just under €20.

We were there on December 27th. for dinner with 6 people in the hotel's beautiful restaurant.I can say in advance that we were very satisfied apart from a few small things. The restaurant is not very big, like the rest of the hotel, but that makes it very pretty and you feel at home as soon as you come in. The fireplace was on, which also created a very nice, cozy atmosphere.Since none of us are big eaters, we made do with a main course. Before that there was an Amuse Geule, delicious (possibly home-baked) rye bread with bacon fat.Everyone had something different for the main course and almost everyone was very satisfied. I had a leg of wild boar, it was tender and very tender, it couldn't have been done better. The sauce was also great, as were the vegetables (Brussels sprouts, etc.). The only meal that wasn't quite as good was the spaghetti with goose meat. In addition to the goose meat, there were also a bit too many pieces of skin, albeit nicely roasted, and the sauce was a bit too runny, so it didn't combine well with the pasta. The taste overall wasn't entirely convincing either. But that shouldn't detract from the really excellent overall impression. When it comes to drinks, I would highlight the Meissen wine and a large selection of juices (e.g. strawberry juice or nectar). When it comes to beer, the selection could be a little larger, especially a light beer (preferably a Bavarian) should no longer be missing from any menu today. In the end we paid around €180, which for 6 people is completely ok for the quality and friendly service. We'll definitely come back! Many thanks to the team for the lovely culinary evening.

I rate the restaurant! We spontaneously visited there for lunch! The terrace is really nice and the service was super attentive, even our four-legged friend got a drink. The food was plentiful and really tasty. If there is one thingwhich I didn't like, then the portion size of the Chopka salad, the price doesn't match other dishes, the salad could be 20-30% larger for the price. Conclusion: we will definitely come back because of the overall impression!
