First of all: I'm not evaluating the services here (unfortunately it never got that far), but rather the contact and process after booking. Above all, I would like to warn against booking this accommodation through TUI Ferienhaus!We booked in May 2021 for the week starting January 22, 2022, through booking.com and travel provider TUI Ferienhaus. Deposit approx. 20%, remainder due by December 25th, 2021. Since the beginning of December, there have been several emails with shortened payment deadlines and threats of cancellation. We paid the rest on December 22nd, confirmation of payment arrived on the same day and the residence permit arrived on the 25th. Up until then it was strange, but everything seemed fine.However, on January 17th I found out via booking that the booking had been canceled when I refunded the remaining payment (20% deposit is still missing). Nobody can be reached at TUI Ferienhaus, so we called the local accommodation (Hotel Lanig): We were informed on December 27th, 2021 that the trip had been canceled. So the apartment was given to someone else. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do now. Nothing else is available except a suite, but that costs many times over.You can imagine my mood.........Now I don't know who messed it up, whether the operator can do something about it or just TUI Ferienhaus. But that doesn't matter to me as a customer. Then as a hotelier you have to choose reputable cooperation partners or be responsible for their mistakes. And “there’s nothing you can do about it” isn’t a good way to regain trust. I don't want a suite for the price of a holiday apartment, but I would have expected a little support from the travel provider.
