Delicious food and very friendly service.

Beautifully located and very nice people! Rooms very large and clean. Huge balcony with comfortable chairs and a view of the greenery. Not to forget the table service breakfast! Everything the ❤ desires and delicious coffee with it. The only negative was that the bed and I didn't fit together. When I sat with my butt on the mattress, my feet didn't reach the floor and I couldn't stand up on my own because the frame was too hard. But luckily I had my husband with me, who freed me 😉

We have been coming here for ages to unwind in the middle of Mother Nature 🌱

Nice hotel

Hello Google readers!We arrived on September 24th, 2021 after over 4 hours of driving.As soon as we had the key to our room, we were told in a harsh tone that if we wanted to eat something, we should go downstairs immediately. The kitchen was about to close. It was 7:45 p.m. and we each had a dog with us. It would have been nice if we could have looked after the dogs first and I would have liked to refresh myself after the long journey. However, the tone indicated a quick request. I felt tolerated, not welcome.The menu was small and the selection was reduced to various schnitzels, a salad and Maultaschen. When I asked whether the Maultaschen were homemade, I was dismissed with a dismissive “No”. We ordered a Cordon Blue, it tasted good.However, the cola had hardly any carbonation and seemed as bland as the first impression.The room was cold, the heater couldn't warm up both single rooms we booked. The beds are one behind the other in both rooms. If these rooms are booked as double rooms, there will be no comfort. The beds look like they come from a youth hostel. The shower is an imposition. To prevent the splashing water from leaving the shower, the shower head was installed in such a way that you have to hold the hand shower in your hand to be able to wash your entire body. It is not possible to stand under the beam.The following day we ordered drinks and cakes on the terrace. We stayed for about 2 hours. The first order was forgotten. The second order too. I got everything myself. When the glasses were empty, we were not asked whether we would like to eat anything else.With a sunny 25 degrees, a cool drink or two would have been welcome.It was clear to me that the first impression from the evening before did not correspond to the style of the day, but rather the general style of the head of the house. We then went to another restaurant.A nicely laid table awaited us at breakfast. However, the products were not of particularly good quality. Frozen baked rolls, sausage and jam corresponded to the usual mass production for restaurants.What was good?Everything was clean, the location is great. The boss was incredibly personable and was a good host at breakfast. The hotel is very quiet and invites you to take walks nearby.Would I use the hotel again for overnight stay?Definitely not! I didn't feel welcome and the condition of the property does not correspond to the pictures on the homepage. It is definitely not contemporary and leaves a lot to be desired in terms of comfort and coziness.
