Unfortunately my wife and I did not book a room here, however we spent 4 out of 5 nights dining in this wonderful place. It is a quaint family ran Hotel and everything on the menu is a shear delight, by that I mean it is the finest quality fish & meat as well as the most impressive aspect, WOW can they cook! Highly recommend it.For those that went for the glamour of the Schloss down the road, then forget fancy food walk 2 minutes to this more friendly and welcoming family and enjoy some traditional food and drinks. 5 Stars +

From the outside it didn't look so bad. But it wasn't clean inside. There were cobwebs everywhere. It wasn't advertised on the internet that there was no restaurant. We had to watch every evening to see where we could get something to eat. The only thing that was really great was the service person Katharina. You could tell that she enjoyed her job. But the price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all. Not recommended.

This year was the 13th time we stayed at the country hotel and the second year with new guests.Since the change of operator in spring 2023, everything should be different:We were greeted by a sign on the door (with a phone number on it) at 6:30 p.m., even though the arrival time would be until 8:00 p.m. We would have expected a personal reception. Ultimately the keys were in the “newspaper tube”! The house seemed dark and deserted, the restaurant is closed, the terrace was dirty and weathered - not inviting! The drinks fridge in the recreation room was empty. Safety-relevant elements, such as smoke detectors, have been partially removed in the rooms, and the existing refrigerators are not functional. In one room even the sink siphon is leaking. The new operator only reacts with justifications. The promised elimination is promised but not carried out. The room cleaning leaves a lot to be desired → Wastebaskets hadn't been taught since Friday (we arrived on Wednesday) and there was long hair on the bathtub. In one room, the nightstand broke out of the wall so that the table lamp was in danger of falling onto it. Due to the large number of defects, we left on Sunday - after 4 o'clock - and with us other guests who expressed their displeasure.Conclusion: the Landhotel Schorssow is truly no longer a place of politeness, hospitality and relaxation. For the service offered, the price is not justified and overpriced. The promises and invitations on the homepage do not correspond to the facts and are misleading. It is absolutely impossible for us to come back under the current leadership of the house. TN

Unfortunately the hot kitchen was discontinued. There is only limited hotel operations. The surrounding area looks unkempt. There is no more seating outside. Clearly too expensive for the asking price. I can only warn against this country hotel, not recommended! DANGERUpdate: In a youth hostel I also have to make my own bed, which was also the case in this “hotel” at the weekend! Garbage wasn't removed, the bathroom wasn't cleaned, towels weren't changed or cleaned. I would say that, analogous to a youth hostel, it is a country hostel. There is always a contact person in the youth hostel. Unfortunately, the telephone is my contact person at times when the operator is not present and this is not uncommon. A lack of staff must be replaced by personal initiative, i.e. I don't just delegate work but also tackle the problems myself. Being a boss means being yourself and constantly. There is a misunderstanding of how tasks have to be completed.

The food was very tasty. Too bad the restaurant was closed at 9pm. But we had the opportunity to sit together in the TV room. I have to make small compromises when it comes to the cleanliness of the room. Quickly removed the spiders and cleaned the floor with a Swiffer cloth and everything would have been great in five minutes.

We were guests of your hotel from August 18th to 25th, 2020. They were very relaxing days for us. We would like to thank you very much for the wonderful service during this time. Every wish, whether a spontaneous rebooking or individual care, was fulfilled immediately. We started each new day of vacation with a wonderful breakfast. A visit to the restaurant is highly recommended. You can eat fantastically here. It was also possible to have a little small talk with all employees at any time. We'd love to come back. We only ate there but the food and the service, which was only alone and had a full house, still served everyone as well as they could and was always friendly.The food was very, very good.The location is 50m from the lake where you can also swim in the lake.

Solid cooks, relatively cheap.Service was generally friendly, although the request to swap a steak for two fried eggs when ordering was rudely rejected. The suggestion to still pay the full price for the steak was also rejected, as was the suggestion to serve the two eggs on a separate plate for an additional charge.Good service can be done differently, especially since the request doesn't seem out of the ordinary.Corona requirements were not adhered to by the service.

If you are looking for peace and quiet and like to sit by the lake in the evenings and eat delicious food, this is the place for you. The boss cooks himself and it is delicious.
