What a great experience. The place is amazing and very well decorated, peaceful and with a lot of nature around. I was speechless with the room Ludwig. What a great experience!!Besides that, very clean, friendly . You will not regret if you choose staying there, it’s a great option for those who is looking for some vacation around OstSee in Germany. From there we explored all around. Thank you Gross Köthel family, for the warm and great welcome! I will definitely be back

a great place and the host is so friendly and helpful. stayed there this summer on a bikepacking trip to shelter from bad weather. everything was perfect!

Very pleasant, quiet location. Many excursions can be undertaken from there. The hotel is beautiful and was renovated with great effort a few years ago. Our room was spacious and very nicely decorated. The garden is very well maintained. Gabriel did everything to make us feel comfortable. Thank you for that! We would like to come back next year.

Unfortunately, this house has no welcoming culture whatsoever - no hospitality.A soul of the house is missing... seen in many...For the presented breakfast p.p. Collecting €21 is outrageous!And: The “breathtaking view” from the Röbel room described on the website is of an opaque conifer hedge, which is located approx. 2m in front of the room’s windows.We won't be coming back and can't recommend the house...

Last weekend we went on a castle tour in MeckPomm with friends - it's unbelievable how many castles there are in the area - everything included - from fantastic, well renovated, far too expensive but also a shame that it has fallen into disrepair. Of course we lived appropriately. The absolute highlight and really an insider tip - Groß Köthel Castle. Wonderfully located, renovated with great attention to detail. Here the guest is king and lady of the castle at the same time and everything at an affordable price. Particularly noteworthy is the good soul of the house - Caro - she really reads your every wish and does so in such a wonderfully attentive and lovable way - chapeu. Very beautiful house with history, charm and soul.A wonderful place to relax and find peace.The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired.Ruben went to great lengths to make everything as pleasant as possible. Thanks for that!I enjoyed the stay and felt very comfortable.The Ivenack oak forest and the Dargun monastery complex are approx. 30 km away. A trip that is worth it.

The first impression of the castle was very good (nice hotel, quiet location).But then ! You go to a beautiful castle hotel in Germany and the staff doesn't speak any German. That is not how it works ! (Why are there language courses at the VHS)And for the room prices you can request that the staff be present all day.(It wouldn't have helped in this case "lack of German").You were on your own. Oh, I could have called and someone would come, but in which oneLanguage ? That's why I won't book here again and I would be surprised if that happensHotel can keep up with this. It's a shame about the beautiful house.
