We, my wife and I, spent lovely days there. The hotel is manageable and therefore very personal. The room, including the wet room, was very good and clean. The food was particularly good. Whether breakfast or a la carte - a poem. The chef is a master of his craft.Nice and quiet precisely because of the location; but essential excursion destinations are easy to reach. Conclusion: People like to go here.

I've experienced a lot of hotels and I'm just thrilled here. Regardless of the price, which I consider to be extremely fair, management and employees are very courteous, unobtrusive and are simply good at their jobs.Very quiet, excellent food that you can't find anywhere like this. A good breakfast buffet with salmon and smoked trout. And the rooms are very comfortable and have a clean bathroom.Keep it up - and I'm probably not alone with my opinion. Good luck!

One of our short weekend trips took my friend and I to Edelhof Castle. It was a very nice experience, to which the landlord and his staff contributed significantly. Rarely have we been looked after so attentively, the kitchen is excellent, the rooms comfortable and clean. We hope that the innkeepers will be successful with their concept for many, many years.

I spent a night at the Edelhof for work reasons. I have never felt so comfortable in a hotel. Be it a little chat with the friendly staff, a personal greeting from the restaurant manager/owner or even the other guests, who all seemed to be happy too. There is a consistently positive atmosphere in this house. Of course, I also really liked the free upgrade to the honeymoon suite. The price-performance ratio is the best I have ever experienced.Clean rooms, good, rich breakfast, friendly, helpful staff, great restaurantIn the restaurant I found an unusual menu, which clearly stands out from other hotels. No SchniPo or similarly ordinary food to be found, but a variety of our own creations such as various roulades and medieval-style dishes. Everything seemed to have been freshly prepared and tasted great. The price was also good... a 0.4l draft beer for €2.20 is quite cheap. In the evening I chatted at length with Armin at the cellar bar and drank a beer or two... Armin (the owner of the hotel and also the excellent chef in the restaurant) is a really nice guy and also listened to my criticisms. There wasn't really anything to complain about, I was only able to point out how it could be even better. Conclusion: I would love to come back here!

When we arrived we were warmly greeted with a handshake by the manager of the house. The hotel is in a dreamy location in a quiet, beautiful landscape. The rooms are simple but functional and equipped. There are beautiful old beams on the ceiling. The breakfast buffet was delicious and fresh. Guests could choose between boiled eggs, scrambled eggs or fried eggs, which were freshly prepared. The staff was courteous and friendly. We can recommend this hotel without hesitation.

A short holiday at Pentecost 2014 at Edelhof Castle (new owner since March 2014) is recommended to everyone. Since we only arrived around 6 p.m. after a strenuous bike ride, the warm, personal welcome from the hotel owner Astanehi was very comforting. Checking into our prepared, freshly renovated, clean rooms went smoothly. The knight's meal we booked was a delicacy at its best (loar of lamb medium, leg of wild boar tender and juicy. Duck breast just as tender and juicy.) The friendliness of all the service staff and the wife gave us the feeling of being "king of the castle". Keep it up.
