We were guests at the hotel from August 30th, 2024 to September 1st, 2024 for a wedding. We traveled with 6 people and had booked two triple rooms. Arrive after 3pm. The booking was confirmed to us several times. When we arrived we discovered that only one room had been reserved. A second room was prepared accordingly. However, the one room that had already been taken into account still had to be prepared. After 5 hours of driving we shared our rooms with the cleaner. The rooms are past their best and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The bed frames had red splatters and in the other room there were red stains on the curtain. But the bathroom was very clean. Dinner in the hotel on Friday was not possible despite other information on the website,because the hotel now prefers to earn its money through catering. After eating out, we wanted to end the evening in the bar at 8:45 p.m., which was already closed. There was no prepared breakfast table for our group of 6 people, we set up the tables ourselves. For the large number of guests there was a coffee machine with a water tank that was far too small. After I asked for water to be refilled for the third time (the line of people waiting was long), the porter/waitress/kitchen help=1 person, staff was short) said we shouldn't drink so much coffee. At 10 a.m. the breakfast buffet was pretty full. The hotel employee filled up in the breakfast room...counted slices of sausage...there were no rolls left. The invoice was issued incorrectly at the end. Our child was charged as an adult on the second day. We paid over €650 for 2 nights/2 rooms. The hotel advertises 4 stars. This is at most a guesthouse. It's a shame because the hotel used to be first class, has a nice location and generally a nice ambience, if you ignore the rooms now. Unfortunately I couldn't give it 0 stars.

A clean and attractive hotel. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Room cozy. Bathroom large and clean. Food OK but unfortunately little choice. Recommended and good house.

The positive, the manager is just perfect and helpful. We got a meal on Saturday even though the kitchen was open on Sat.Sun. closed!!! Unfortunately there is no more sophisticated cuisine. Uelzen, a very good hotel, good, very rich breakfast. If you go to Lüneburg, you should definitely go to the heath and stay in this hotel. It's like sleeping on clouds here, really relaxing!

A really nice hotel in Uelzen.The rooms are clean. The furnishings are rather sparse, but sufficient.The bar is also very inviting.Tenoning needs to be practiced again.The breakfast buffet was rich and fresh.Free parking spaces complete the positive overall picture.Gladly again.

I stayed in this hotel for many days (and nights :-)) from January 2024 onwards because I held multi-day workshops and conferences there as a moderator and business trainer.My points of criticism are the following:- Very poor WiFi - couldn't work from the room in the evening- Uncomfortable restaurant, without atmosphere,- Hotel and restaurant opening times did not correspond to the website-I found the employees at the reception to be extremely unfriendly- Agreements/promises made with me as a guest were not kept - several times- also on behalf of my customers/conference participants, I had a lot of discussions with the management and the ladies at the reception with the aim of improving the lunch - without success.- my subjective experience was an intense resistance to criticism: constructive criticism was disruptive and the guest who expressed constructive criticism was annoying and unwelcome - I experienced various situations like this- with the exception of 2 hotel employees: I did not experience any customer orientation- All approximately 10 to 13 guests/participants of the conference were highly dissatisfied.-The price-performance ratio -including the conference flat rate- is absolutely not suitable and is completely overpricedI and my customers have taken the consequences and canceled the multi-day bookings remaining in 2024.We will also avoid this house in 2025 and refrain from holding further conferences in the Deutsche Eiche house.Side note: Apparently this house still draws on the previous good management/leadership and the good name/image from before.

Went to the crime dinner on Saturday,great 5 stars 🌟 for the promotion.Disadvantage there was no non-alcoholic Aperol or Lillet Wild Berry, what a shame!!!!
